Hi Ck These videos are very informative about the equipments that pros use. I always come and watch these videos before buying rackets. But I would also want to know the grip sizes of the rackets . Do the pros use thick G4 or thin G6 grips. You can add that in your next interviews.

I have been thinking that I should get a racket tension with 26 X 26.5 And I have a lot of experience of playing Badminton but i'm not that good at playing it Can I still string my Racket that high? Or I should lower to 24 X 26? Tension?
@CKYewКүн бұрын
If you don’t know what’s your current string tensions, I’d recommend 24 x 26 first and if it feels too soft then perhaps go up on your next restring

Hi CK, brilliant video as always! Was good to get the players perspectives into the grading system, especially given BE are currently reviewing the system. I am personally a man of data, and think it would be awesome if they could create local badminton leagues within the BE tournament software, so if youre playing in your local league you can still get grading points based on your opposition, and gives people a greater data set to accurately reflect their grade. I think this video also shows how footwork is so important in badminton as the grade B players technique can definitely improve, but the footwork and tactics makes up for it significantly.

Yeah it's best not to bother, unless someone specifically asks for advice. 😐 The only time that I say anything, is when players that think they're good, try to tell where to stand, when they don't know that they're wrong and why they're wrong. It's usually the people that try to play doubles like singles 🙄 and run backwards from mid court / the net, when the shuttlecock is lifted over them (when on attack). They always crash into people, or clash rackets, but can't see that it's their fault. 😶
@quicksmashКүн бұрын
@@1Flyingfist funny how the incident was something similar. I was telling him not to come back from the right hand side after he attacks the net but rather to cover both sides of the front court...
@1FlyingfistКүн бұрын
@quicksmash If he's had no coaching and you have, it will make some games difficult. Especially if it's someone stuck in their ways, that wants to "play sides" 😳😅.

Why do people use the word "cheap points" lol. If it's a direct counter play, i.e. far left shot to short right shot, then I would just call it a punishing point. Nothing cheap about it.
@CKYew2 күн бұрын
Cheap points often refers to points given away instead of counters. Points where you hit out or in the net or your own mistakes are cheap points.

Nice… do notice the A grade and B grade looks like they don’t move as much in terms of steps and in terms of racquet head movement it seems very minimal n quick and at the past millisecond making it harder to read… they are calm composed and decide on hitting point n location and target to hit to before hitting… notice also if you read that they are going to do a certain shot, they actually have several options… if they are not in a good position… their shots slow down… to get time on their side… but if they have the upper hand… the shots are intercepted to speed up.. the pace….
