I dug several of those Kool Aid bottles in a nearby dump. Several said Columbus and Dayton, some had Columbus ground off. Most of them had the best paint of any other ACLs I dug. I found one of those hobnail bottles out there in a creek as well. I never have liked anything hobnail so never researched it, lol.

I believe that pink lid is Depression glass, which was glassware that was mass produced from 1929-1939. The predominant color was green, but they also used pink, yellow, blue and crystal. There were lots of different patterns, produced by a number of different manufacturers (Anchor Hocking, Hazel-Atlas Glass, Imperial Glass, Westmoreland, etc. Awesome video, as always!!

Is the coke worth tumbling?
@southernohiodigger269120 күн бұрын
Don't think so. Machine made Columbus Ohio straight sided cokes are pretty common. Plus not sure if wear from rolling around in the creeks for over 100 years would tumble out without removing most of the embossing. Think I already sold it anyway (old video).

@@southernohiodigger2691Hey Daniel this is Mark Coulter. Our trash for over thirty years goes to our county dump, and is burned to generate power. Then any metal slag goes to Tampa to be processed. All busted concrete, block, and brick is hauled to transit stations to be crushed for road base we can dump there for free, and across the bay Tampa built the first desalination plant in the world. Problem with desalination is the amount of power to do it. Tampa Bay area has really been on the cutting edge the last thirty years.
