When I walk for about 10 minutes, I start experiencing lower back pain, and my left leg becomes numb and painful. This also happens if I stand for that amount of time. What is the solution?

Can this cause gastro problems or vice versa? Every time I have what I think is gastritis, I get this type of rib pain. I've done the hook test without realizing it was even a thing. I've also noticed I develop gastritis symptoms a few days after I start doing anything that strains my chest muscles (pushups, snow shoveling, certain resistance band movements, leaning over something that puts pressure on my ribs, or even wearing a snug bra).

This is me i havent stopped training for more than 2 days in years and every workout is strength then intense cardio .im having soreness ,feeling tired and high stress levels. I became to routine , this helps me so much. So many training professionals say you can workout everyday but really that Ifeel depends on the intensity of all those days. Im taking this advice in this video. I feel overtraned and i need to respond to that.😊

I have been recommended for a Nerve Block injection ( maybe more ) , for L4 and L5 vertebrae disease ...Spinal Stenosis . My Registrar Doc said that if it works for me then I will need an operation on the bones which are bad . If it doesn't work out ...I won't get the op and will probably have to live with the pain unless there are other ways to treat this damned chronic agony .It seems a bit upside down / back to front for treatment ? That's the NHS here in Scotland ....

I recently had 2 sessions of dry needling done for a shoulder injury. Before the dry needling, I did have 2 sessions of scraping done, where my tricep lit up bright red. It feels so weird when the needling is happening though. I wasn’t prepared for the spasm feeling from it. Overall I think the scraping and dry needling helped my shoulder heal. I had to wear a pain patch after the scraping to aid with the pain afterwards. I used a heat pad after the dry needling and it helped afterwards.

The 'chest further forwards' isn't helping. I am still getting elbow pain and something is clicking / crunching. FYI I am hypermobile, and my shoulder mobility is compromised by a previous collarbone fracture. Since the fracture 25 years ago the only type of pressup that hasn't caused pain is a triceps pressup (i.e. elbows come directly backwards).
@docjenfit4 күн бұрын
That makes sense that the tricep press back is comfortable because that is a very stable position for the shoulder. Maybe you could even start by trying the push up against a wall? Just to focus on the form? If this is still uncomfortable, maybe trying very light dumbbell press on your back? Even laying on the floor because then that limits the range of motion. Especially with history of fracture, the clicking might never go away completely, but I hope you find exercises that work for where you are at!
@sarahpemberton40893 күн бұрын
@@docjenfit Thanks for getting back to me! Pressup against the wall is still sore, but dumbbell press lying on my back on the floor is fine (even with relatively heavy weights). Maybe I just need that restricted range of motion at the elbow.

This guy not only has an un-scientific approach in his thinking, but he also starts using smear tactics at 8:30 flat out lying (half-truths) about the RDAs. This is what we can expect from someone pushing meat & dairy (does he work for these struggling industries?). Consuming cholesterol is scientifically verified to clog your arteries. All these Ancestral-diet guru's are twisting history & biology. ("Liver-King" admitted to lying). Our real Ancestors are primates who eat little to no meat; High-fruit diets. I've been eating a half-fruit diet for 30 years. I'm 56 and have no diseases and take no medications.

Thanks so much for reaching out and sharing all of this with us. It can be very difficult, especially with such a busy life and 3 kiddos. Unfortunately, I really can't give specific exercises or ideas for you, as that would be something someone should do in person with you. Sometimes my recommendation to people is to try focusing less on what all the MRI's say and focus more on the current ability that you have. Then find things that you can do that would add maybe 5% extra movement or exercise each day, ideally things that are relatively comfortable for you (understanding that there might not be much that is super comfortable for you right now). That can help you focus on slowly increasing your function while trying not to increase symptoms too much. I know that doesn't give you much and it's much more complicated than a simple KZbin comment. We do have great plans on our platform, Jen Health, that go over every area of the body, if that was of interest. You can check out a free week and see if it's something that might fit for you: jen.health/freetrial Just little movement bits that you could add in throughout the day.

Thanks so much for sharing! So if you don't try to do any sort of rehab or change something, it might persist for a while. It can be especially difficult while working manual labor, because we are definitely putting a lot of strain on the ribs during that. I would definitely recommend trying to use some of the suggestions in this video to add into your daily routine, maybe just quickly in the morning and at night, to help down regulate your nervous system. We also have a great program that incorporates a lot of great breath work, foam rolling, mobility, and ribcage work that is great for this. You could get a bonus discount using code OPTIMAL20 at checkout. Here's the course if you want to check it out: jen.health/grateful
