This is very helpful. My bun has been loosing fur on her cheek and has lots of dandruff there. She's very itchy too. We plan to bring her to the vet soon so hopefully all goes well❤

I just watched your video because I had a colony of 5 bonded Holland Lops. Mom, dad, and 3 sisters. Only dad is fixed. But one of the bonded sisters bit the other, resulting in 12 stitches. We kept her in a cage, always in the same room with her colony until she healed and got her stitches out. But now I need to know how to bond her back in the colony? The vet said if I just throw her back in, and it happened again, it could be fatal. She told me to get rid of the one that bit. 😪 But she is still bonded with the other 3. Now It seems like the 4 won't accept the one who was bit. I know I need to get the females fixed and they have hit sexual maturity, which may be what broke the bond? They had all been bonded, laying together, kissing each others head for 7 months. Now what? Should I try this method?

I know this is an old video but it’s one of the best I’ve seen on bonding rabbits and I’m working on getting a second rabbit to bond with my doe and was wondering, do you need to keep them together the whole bonding process or is there a way you can bond them for a few hours a day and then keep them separate the rest of the time while you do things like eating & sleeping? Also any other bonding tips would be deeply appreciated!!! A few questions I’ve thought of while I watch: -When you slept in your own bed did you have someone else watching them or were they unsupervised? -since my rabbit is currently on her own and when I get another they won’t be used to my scent, would it be smarter to let someone else more neutral and experienced to do the bonding or would I still be able to do it? -how do you know when the bonding is solidified?

My bun momma died leaving two litters behind all went to a nice and bunny known home but I kept two of her babies while she was still alive she picked on one female which I have until they become one her daughter got a litter too all babies to good homes. Now he is neutered and she about being spayed next month and so bought two new gurls since they always were four but knowing this pet store owner having snakes private you know what would happen so the male seems okay but she not. Shed nipped them for now and had to build a huge huge x pen for the 10weeks old to been safe...i hope her spaying gotta help a bit

Why have rabbits if you are going to lock them in a shed outside? I have 2 free roaming in part of my house and a bonded pair of fosters in another part. I've fallen in love with the fosters though and I'm hoping to bond them all so we will have 4 free roaming together inside with us.

Because they aren't happy in the house. They love having their own shed and aviary, it's much more natural. They have a digging box and are really happy.

Omgosh they are starving! Rabbits don’t go nuts like that over pellets. Might be a reason why they are fighting too. That Dutch one though…ouch

Hi thank you so much for this video as I have 4 rabbits and 3 of them are bonded but two of 3 isn’t a big fan of the 4th rabbit and this video has helped me try bond all of them together- your the first video I have seen where it’s realistic and shows the rabbits fighting and what to do when it happens. Thank you!! I’m currently bonding my 4 rabbits and it’s going ok so far ❤

Tip: when a bunny puts their head down, it can be a sign of dominance, because the bunny is asking to be groomed!

You can't put grown rabbits together, they'll rip each other's faces off

if they're neutered and bonded in the right way you definitely can.

Poor Berty, you shouldn’t just voice for them not to bite. Please interfere. You’re letting Robin bite poor Berty. I would check Berty for serious bites. That’s not okay. Is it cold where you live? And does your shed have a bit of light?
@mypamperedpets2 ай бұрын
this video was made 4 years ago. They were fine and still are. The shed has windows and the door is open during the day too into the aviary.

But so far its going really well. I cant do 24/7 bonding because of work so im just doing a little each day. Aww your twins look just like my Evie 🥰❤️
