its so wonderful you got them but you know determined buns can breed through such panels you used in the run? i would of used a more solid divider if i was trying to preventing pregnancy...i mean she wasn't pg so it was fine in the end but i've seen buns breed through such paneling before

Hi thank you, someone else said this and I didn't realise they could breed through there! 😳 Thankfully though the female wasn't interested at all and if he went near her she hopped off luckily.

How do your rabbits not jump the fence. when i fostered rabbits we had a fence twice the size of that and 4 different rabbit jumped it.

Well done for rescuing them. I would have thought that they could mate through the bars?? Hopefully I am wrong! What stops them digging out? Do you have mesh buried? So good that they are now paired up again.
@mypamperedpets4 жыл бұрын
I suppose if they were really determined they could maybe mate through the bars but Connie was not interested in that at all so just hopped off if Gus got too close! I don't have mesh buried but my grass is literally above rock so they can't dig out deep enough to escape.

Sometimes litter mates won't mate but yes they can Im glad you got them this happens lots over breeding and selling rabbits Sometimes when litter mates are seperated then re introduced will breed right away Good luck hun xoxox much love xoxox Sometimes we don't know the reasons if they are friendly they had nice care but who knows with free pets I would and have given pets away for free but made sure they are a good home that can afford to take care of them Hope they can stay together

My bunny has a tiny bald patch and he’s had it for a year and it hasn’t gotten bigger do you think it’s from past fighting and he has a little bit on dandruf on his fur, please tell me if I should go to a vet
@mypamperedpets4 жыл бұрын
It sounds like it could be mites. Definitely worth a visit to the vets to find out x

Hi I have been bonding my Male and female rabbit for 2 months now. My female is 5 and Male 6 months. Both neutered and spayed. The female licks the boy and he puts his head down and they seem to get on. However they both mount each other and then circle each other tightly. They are living in a neutral area in puppy pen in living room as they don't get on when put in females previous room.why does the male not groom the female bk? even though he always holds his head low to the ground when he sees her .he does not mount her much it's more the other way round. Any suggestions how to progress? Thanks
@mypamperedpets4 жыл бұрын
Hi, it sounds like in this situation he is currently the dominant rabbit and is requesting grooming from her! I'm sure he will eventually groom her back, it just takes time. As long as they aren't fighting, I wouldn't worry! Good luck 😄

If you have vaccinations for myxomatosis or vhd then I'd recommend having them. Not sure what diseases you have over there though.
@Farzeen.4 жыл бұрын
@@londontimothy7931 yeah you need to vaccinate them against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease
