Thanks for sharing, Great video! Your commentary was very good as well, easy to listen to and you spoke about and gave a little history on the players.

At 3:00:45, Scott gets down on game ball, and Danny stands up out of his chair. I don't think it's a move, probably wants to get on to the next game. If Scott wasn't so far ahead, he may have said something.

Scott played good, but Efren was 54 yrs old, well out of his prime yrs, just for the record!

So, Frost was playing Preacher Ron 8-7 then? Because if they’re playing with no weight, they’d both need the last ball.

I always liked Ronnie, One time I was watching him in Biloxi I think, he had quit and wasn't playing great but he was still Ronnie Allen, he was playing a guy who played ok, but he just wasn't trying mentally and was getting frustrated. I stood up and said , man I been hearing about Ronnie Allen for 30 years , now I see you playing and it's all fantasy, he got red, and was as hot as a sucker can get. He says oh yeah , well watch this know it all. and he put on a clinic. The guy was frozen under the rail every shot , looking at a nightmare. He win's the match and he comes over to me and said , I want to thank you for what you did, he said , if I was 30 years younger I think we could make a lot of money together. I said ,I think so too, but I'm retired from that business, he said , me too.

Saratoga is a mix between 8-ball and 9-ball, it's a little strange but both entertaining and nice to offer this mix between two different games of American billiards and also to offer another vision of 8-ball and 9-ball

Thank you for sharing your story. When me and a buddy was traveling around hitting various pool halls, we never spoke about our ability, we never talked about money, we only rode with each other and we always dressed in standard apparel. It also helped that my main playing cue was a sneaky pete. Whatever you can do to survive, do it.

That radio got the right yellow contrast on it but it’s a 4th gen radio….1990 iroc , and 1991/2 z28’s they went to yellow letters on everything (buttons , radio= writing on knobs, gauge cluster numbers , door panel locks, window buttons etc)…they also ran the yellow 1 year into the 4th gen (1993) before going back to white numbering /background for 94’….make sure you get a 90-92 radio if your looking for factory..try to find the am/fm cd player .
@OnTheRailTV4 ай бұрын
I found on Ebay that had been refurbished. Factory 91 with the yellow. Cost like $500.
@toddprater144 ай бұрын
@@OnTheRailTV it’s probably worth it cause refurbished means usually a added Bluetooth and or a 3.5 m jack to plug in your phone … before Bluetooth, people were taking these radios and adding a 3.5m stereo jack to faceplate of radio by edge so people could stay factory look but hook up their phone with emerging technologies…. Now it’s even later and they are adding Bluetooth onto the back of it, rca jacks for amps and other “speaker box” accessories.. really look at that radio bro, it might have all I’ve mentioned.
@OnTheRailTV4 ай бұрын
@toddprater144 yes it has the bluetooth feature. Nice upgrade. Car is near complete. Just considering a repaint of the whole car since numerous panels have been done already.
@toddprater144 ай бұрын
@@OnTheRailTV nice , it’s worth it if your gonna keep car and want the factory look, just make sure it’s not a delco-Bose gold…them radios go with the hatch area speaker locking storage board ,,the Bose speakers in sail panels and dash will have their own amps on each speaker including the lockable hatch one…if you car has normal speakers regular delco radio is hat you want…not delco-Bose….also being a 1le, is there ANY. Speakers wired into dash , sail panels cause it didn’t come with a radio right?

LOL.. This is the second time I listened to this. Some things are not factual but, It's Ronnie's story to tell. Ted & Cornbread were good friends. A little bit of hustling went on. Ronnie was such a character. Last time I saw Ronnie was in Vegas, he took me and a friend out to luch. He had us laughing so hard. Also saw Richie Florence, Denver Danny & a lot of the old players.

Carfax is nothing to hang your hat on, ALWAYS have a pre-purchase inspection done new/old or classic. I was at Mecum 2024 FL, 1/3 of the cars were good, 1/2 were NOT anything to write home about. They were pumping booze on to people with money to burn who were purchasing out of emotion not using logic. As a classic you are buying an investment, buy the best there will always be another car. Point of interest I own a 1987 Iroc-Z 5.7L T-Top car for 28 years now. Purchased it from the original owner in 1986.
