Never been a fan of the ring sights. And i always go with 2 guns. Always faster to switch than reload. Saved my more times than I can count. If i had this squad (may get it when on sale), i would pair the T24 with the 1919 and/or the Stinger. That setup would allow me to basically send 200-300 rounds down range with only the time it takes to switch guns. And instead of reloading, just switch to the next Machine Gunner in the squad and do the same. The AI should reload the guns and you can just keep cycling through them till every one is out of ammo. Than build and ammo create, reload everyone, then back to it. Got almost 300 kills with that one day. To be fair, i was running 3 MG squads that match, with Germany.

This gun is awesome. I don't have the squad but I picked up this gun a bunch of times from the ground and you know a gun is really good when you get mad when your soldier gets killed holding that gun.

i love running the orita squad in custom modes like lone soldiers, being a combat medic with those stats is extremely niche, it’s amazing reviving people at lightning speed.

The tech tree panzer 3 N does have HEAT. Not as much as the Stalingrad one though but the Stalingrad variant has no side skirts. They are also selling the T34 STZ too.

Could it be that you don't play much low br japan? The type hei 10 is the only semi rifle that gives you 10 shots in br3, a significant improvement on the 5 shot Otsu rifle, which also has poor sights. Also highly recommended is the Ho i , so you can play 2 Ho i's.

One small detail that you missed is that the M1923 Thompson has higher bullet velocity of 430m/s (the 45.ACP has 250m/s IIRC) which makes it a little bit better at slightly longer ranges since you don't have to lead your targets that much.

Quantity has a quality of its own.

Remember if you cant hit your target with full auto you can swap by hloding left on console d pad

I'm so happy to see the Chinese squad added, and you struck a real solid point with how this update brought a great map but an insufficient "supporting cast", I would've loved to see the Flying Tigers or more of the CBI forces, many of which were Commonwealth and Chinese troops. Likewise Burmese and Thai forces fighting with Japan would have been quite apt for this theatre. There's much they could do and I hope in the future they expand in this domain.

This squad is so dirty, should definitely be BR 3 because the gun is a laser beam.

Personally I think they are pretty good. Weaker bullet but low recoil 30 round thompson at BR2 is nice. My only complaint is that the squad doesnt come with unique Mauser C93 pistols. The whole reason the Thompson clone gun is in 7.63 Mauser is they had a surplus after WW1.

Just like silenced sten /mp40 with engineer AT this one doesnt get the extra trooper, which im not a fan of. MG 42 early / Federov MG squads got the extra body and now can run 3 engineers now so dont know what the big deal is. Personally should be standardized for all assaulters Hopefully it will be

The M2A1 has more rate of fire than the regular M2. Good for tank crew but I wouldn’t use it over a Thompson 50 or Hyde.

The M2A1 Carbine was a Gold Order weapon and you could get up to 3 (I believe) before it was removed. So now I can have 5, which would be enough for the medic squad and more than enough for an assaulter squad. There is an assault rifle at BRII, the MKb 35 gold order weapon. It has the lowest rate of fire (circa 400 rpm) but hit with 10 ant 10 meters. Magazine of 20 rounds. In my opinion, good at BRII, fuctional at BRIII, but not any higher.

The VMP 1926 was really nice back when Tunisia was its own campaign. It was easily the best SMG the Axis side had in that campaign, at least at that time (not to mention you were stuck with the MP28 until you finally unlocked the Beretta M1). Came back to the game post-merge and BR4 (and it is still BR4 as of Dec 2024) just doesn't make any sense to me when you look at its stats vs other BR4 weapons. Just going off the numbers it's basically a Lanchester with 8 more rounds, yet it's in the same BR as regular tech tree weapons like the PPD 34/48 or the Beretta M38A which is basically the same gun with better everything besides reload time. It doesn't make any sense to have it at BR4 anymore since the MP40 and Beretta got moved down to BR2, especially since most of the guns at BR3 aren't particularly big upgrades over those two SMGs besides the ZK-383 with its high ROF and bipod. The VMP would fit right in since it has a lower ROF than the ZK, but but more ammo.
