So many amazing parts from this scene alone. From his entrance, to him ordering her milk to how he pauses from time to time. I like how Waltz stops to admire his streusel before he begins to eat it. Then he stops to chew his streusel and stare at her before he continues his interrogation. I also like how they actually show the cream being scooped up lol. I was wondering if Waltz was testing Emmanuelle again when he stares at her for a minute while lighting his smoke and then says he had something he wanted to ask her and fixated on her before stating he couldn’t remember. Just look at his face lol.

I've always hated this kind of situations in real life - someone you know needs to have a bad conversation with you: but they rock up with smiles and candour. You lose your nerve because the issue is between you and the other person to the ignorance of everyone else, and you know that axe is going to drop the second the group disperses.

The amount of crowd shock and fear at this scene in the theater when I first saw this movie in Seattle. . . this is how you make an entrance in a movie!

Just saw this movie for the first time a couple of days back. And this scene and music messed up my heartbeat and brain function for the entire time it ran. I always had the feeling, "Oh!! He will know. The Jew Hunter will Know!!", Especially when Landa said that he wished to say something and then forgot. Ohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

List of evil things Landa did in this scene. 1) The glass of milk 2) "Forgot" to order the cream to prolong the duration of the conversation ( interogation ) 3) Offers a cigarette similiar to the first scene when he smoke the pipe at the same time with the farmer. 4) Pressuring Shosanna by giving the same intense stare that he did to the farmer. 5) Letting her flee again ( Toying with her emotions ) Just my theory.
