Why do you need to buy an expensive ELP camera? Can you do this with any USB camera?
@jamesclarkson30092 күн бұрын
This is very good advice. The problem is that you have to reload after every shot and going back to exactly the same hold every time isn't easy. The smallest of variations can and do affect consistency. But some springers are more forgiving than others. Definitely takes a lot of practice.

Watching you shoot, being a leftie might actually be an advantage for that gun if you were shooting off the bipod or a bench rest.

Wasted a lot of time looking at other videos before I got to Steve's video. Steve explains the mole thinking process and habits which are invaluable in placing those traps expertly. I have already forked out a small fortune to get mole catchers into my garden so thankful to Steve for saving me a bunch

Piece of shit . Can barely penetrate a beer can from 10 yards. Pathetic. Well constructed for sure but crap at the end of the day. Looks don’t count , it’s performance that matters .

Rifle not cocking fully is down to you , on a tx you have to make sure you pull the underlever right back to its full extent otherwise you will get the symptoms you describe, 😁👍

The 97k is unbelievably accurate, the only improvement that it needs is the piston and Allen head fasteners. The accuracy of the 97k is as good or better than any Springer made today. No special hold of this fantastic airgun is necessary for pin point accuracy.

Big thanks, mate. That was super straightforward and super helpful, it's really helps the gun to be much more fun now!!!

why not using the spin method to zero the scope?
@Tyrant_Popper26 күн бұрын
You aren’t taking into account that rifles have two zero points… you are only showing one zero point in your trajectory diagrams which is theoretically impossible.

Probably more pellet testing required. Although AA or JSB need to note the head size of the pellet. AA are made by jsb, just a batch supply at a time. I use for pest control on my own property so shot count not an issue. Also if look for video of a guy who does a full tour of the JSB factory you will realise your absolutely wasting your time washing and weighing pellets. You would need to spend 1000's of pounds on scales. Any variation on your home scales is due to the scales. Its all been done for you.

A little tip, tie the fill plug to the rifle on a cord of some sort. String in my case or you will loose it in the grass 😉

@johnnottahcal5725Ай бұрын
You would not believe or I certainly cannot, how many videos I’ve watched where the video only show daylight zoom features! 🤷♂️ I need hobbist quality to see 50 yards in zero amby lighting. Can you recommend these for short range, detailed, nightvision off a tripod? Thanks ahead (still watching)
@RetroSteamTechАй бұрын
Thank you for doing this video. The modification makes a considerable improvement to the accuracy of the pistol. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone who has a Sig Sauer P226.

No no no! You got it all wrong! The shutdown is not important, what you should do is START the motor with the release valves open, then close then and only then quickly open the bottle. Shutting down you simply switch off, close the bottle and the release the pressure. The strain on the motor happens when you start against pressure, it draws high current and can stall/damage the motor. When you switch off there is no longer any current so no risk of damage to the motor.

Just ordered one from AliExpress (HT X3006 WiFi) due to be delivered by 19/12. They are on sale at the minute and got mine for £3.41 including tax and delivery!! Wouldn’t have bothered at this price unless I’d seen loads of reviews saying they are pretty decent as I’d expect it to be useless 🙈🤣
