If the vehicle has been well maintained, it should be okay. But I would always advise that you have it checked out by a professional before you purchase it.

The V6 has sold very well, and truth is, it's proven to be very reliable. I worked closely with a Ford dealer for the past few years, and there are alot of V6 Rangers going strong without a single complaint. Even the practical layout of everything. And just build quality in general... It's miles ahead of anything else for the same money.

They are doing surprisingly well in terms of sales, but the current hilux is old and outdated for sure. It is however still an excellent product 🏆

The Discovery V6 was very unreliable to modern standards. Hopefully fixed with this tune. And then one just has to search the internet, to find issues on these already. They drive well, best looking, but it's European and the Japanese are still streets ahead in reliability.

That’s true, the problem with most modern cars are that it is a high risk to drive them out of there warranty period. Having a good warranty in place is almost a must. Having said that, Toyota has to bring out an all new Hilux soon, their loyal base absolutely deserves it. Thank you for the comment 🏆

Having driven both, I’d say that the previous generation Amarok V6 with a 190 KW does feel slightly quicker, but the Ranger feels better in almost every other way. But both are excellent 🏆

Saga is the best value car in Malaysia. Quite durable too. If Proton SA offers manual transmission model, get that one over the CVT one.

Clearly you not a car guy bud sorry man but a RXI 20v is in the league of a 200sti. The comparison of a 1600 sentra "sti" with a 20v RXI nai man 😂 a gle i 160 toy vs a 160 sentra is more better comparison

Thank for the comment, the idea is to build it up. Yes, the 200 Sti is the proper competition for the RXI, but the 160 Sti is still a proper enthousiast car. Going forward, we will be reviewing many more vehicles like these and be using this as a reference. Personally, I can’t wait to review the 200. Bless you for the comment 🏆

Should have been Nissan 200 STI, not the 160 which was not worth the STI badge. Real races are BMW 325is vs Ford Sierra Xr6; Fiat Uno Turbo vs VW Citi Golf Mk1 GTI; Opel Kadett GSI (superboss) vs VW Golf VR6
