At least it makes more sense that bulma would venture off on her own and have adventures... Knowing that she had an older sister that did the same thing... Anything could have happened.... They could have thought tights was dead for a large chunk of that time... While tights was on her adventures...Bulma could have only caught her up recently over the past few years... Talking about all the adventures that she had been on as well

Anyone here fear not now the explanation has actually been official conformed by Information. With the gene theory It actually isn’t a theory anymore, but how it is in canon since the S cells or the saiyan cells in their body are stronger they have much higher potential than even gohan and trunks from the cells are the richest and strongest In those two more than ever the reason why gohan wasn’t this strong was because goku was alot weaker and those two were born a good bit of time after gohan. So the theory is actually somewhat accurate
