Come on, where’s the hilarious ‘props to the cameraman’ comment? Always a winner and so original.

The fact that megarachne had all good traits of a spider is absolutely insane. Massive size ~ Goliath Bird Eater Massive Fangs ~ Tarantulas and burrow type spiders Giant leaps ~ Jumping Spiders and Killer Eyesight ~ Jumping/Wolf spiders Safe to say that it was the ultimate arachnid, even the giant scorpion wouldn't be able to defend themselves against it. If they existed today, they'd inevitably go extinct fairly quickly as people would get rid of these massive predators once they get their hands on weapons that can mass kill them. So regardless if they lived or not, they weren't ever going to be a problem for humans, as we kill anything we don't like.

There are so many unfounded assumptions here, like about its behavior and temperament 🙄 theres no way to know that definitively and this AI voice is stating as fact.

Cool as hell. I'll mention though that Meganeura is a damsel fly, you can distinguish Dragon Flies from Damsel flies because their eyes are like that of a Preying Mantis with their eyes on the side of their heads, where as a Dragon fly's eyes are basically their entire heads. Last one on the list is more akin to Dragon flies. 18:33 talk about Scorpion King, damn... Huge respect to Arthropleura, started off eating corpses then made the wise decision to transition to plant based only 🙃😆😝 Tully Monstrum looks like something The Thing would morph into 😯😅

Stopped watching half way through and won't be coming back, lots of contradicting statements, obvious speculation presented as facts and pointless repetition too. Feels like misinformation and intended for idiots. Respect your audience.

@@iusedyourtowel6765 Ummm, if this was 300+ million years ago, there was still about 280+ million years to go before the era of the Hominidae which was about 14 million years ago. Even "monkeys" didn't exist in the era shown here.

And these are just the species we have found - imagine all the other creepy crawlies that existed during the Carboniferous - as we have to assume there were many variants and other species whose fossils vanished due to the erosion of deep time. If you have ever seen Peter Jackson's King Kong, it probably was as close to anything in getting it right.

Yes, more guessing presented as scientific fact. When the science changes, this video will disappear and people can continue on with the delusion that scientists are always correct.
