to back Andy up, fishing the Red Lion (weaver) i had a 22 foot pole (Shakespeare fibre glass telescopic) that needed the full length to fish the bottom. circa 1982

I just don’t trust a Preston pole anymore after the amount of problems I had with my pro type years ago. Brand new it was and I sent it back multiple times. Had my MTX-3 now probably 4 years or so and not a issue with it👍🏻

My dad used to get himself something new and give me his old one. Worked well for us 👍🏼 plus if you really had to you could use a quiver tip as a float road and vice versa

@@kriswheeler5686 we have 2 feeder rods, 1 float rod 1 carp rod and he has his lure rod, he likes his perch, pike fishing but just as happy catching baby mirror's... he did use his lure rod on holiday as feeder rod :) we slowly building our tackle up
