Challenge idea. The d.i.y challenge. Make your own floats, feeders etc. For every sort of item one has made and the other hasn't you get a X amount of pound bonus weight. Different sizes, weight etc don't count as new item

had some fun with one of them in the sea with a group of people everyone was catching small wrasse and having fun i went and hooked an almost 2ib pollock took me ages to get it in due to the fight and the fact i couldnt stop laughing at how silly it looked on the rod

I think if you hold the rod upside down, then strip off a lot of line into the water, and then cast like you were shooting a fly line, you can cast a dough bait 25- 30 meters Eww...I used metric.. It leaves a funny taste in the mouth

The pen rods with those reels are dreadful, casting is impossible and playing a fish is the worst. You can get ones with a spinning reel which are fantastic! my PB on on of those cheap pen rods is a 9lb mirror. The brand I'd recommend is called Lixada

It's MAVER. The worst fishing tackle on the market. Everything I've bought has broken , crumpled or fell apart with out touching them,, seatbox footplate snapped off , reality margin poles topkits like brittle, rods the eyes are not whipped on properly.. avoid maver like the plague people

My experience is , Diawa for reals n shimano, do like drennen rods for the river n Prestons, cadence. Certainly think some companies are poor on quality these days ! Get what you pay for tho on average and it won't make you catch more fish !

I've got a Maver Reality margin pole. Only reason I don't use it now is I bought an 8.5 mtr margin pole which is much lighter. Other than that, no problems with it.
