Man did I luck out and yes she gets down. I like like to drive after I’ve been in my Mach E all month. It’s got 46,000 miles pretty tight ride…..be warned don’t be me and freak if temp goes high for your coolant. Mine gets to 228 before fan even starts.

If you plan on modding it and want it to still be 50 state legal, get a 6spd 94-95. The obd1 ecms are programmable and don’t rely on a chip like the older ones. ‘95+ has the vented opti. ‘96 6spd has the LT4, which has more power, but if you plan on modding it the extra price doesn’t make sense, and the first year of the obd2 from ‘96 is actually harder to tune than the 94-95 obd1 ecm.

I just bought a 1990 convertible , black on black. Very nice ride. The only bad thing about it is it needs a new top put on which cost 3k . It seems a little high to me, but still worth the price for what I have. There were only 7640 of them made, and I've never seen one on the road that look as nice as mine. I did get very lucky to find it, and I got it for a good price of only 6200 . I feel that I got a great car that will be in my family for many years to come. I'm not sure if you have found your c4 yet, but the right one will pick you. Don't settle for any other than what you want. Good luck to you and welcome to the corvette family. Jim oklahoma.

I bought an 86 manual. Every c4 needs interior, paint, and weather stripping. Engine work is a given, so buy cheap and build up from there. 3500 dollar c4 is going to need 5k at least to make it nice and reliable.

Hello from Quebec, enjoyed your video, I see myself.... Take your time, go see many. Purchased a 1990 base auto with 77k miles last year. White on black, got it from second owner that got it in 91. She's 62 and drove every year, but had trouble getting in and out of it. Needed TLC, but very happy with it. Put 2500 miles in the year I've owned it. Did 5.76 secs 0 to 60 stock. Should be quite quicker next spring. Hope you find what you're looking for.

OH, AND I HAVE ONE OTHER THING TO SAY! YOU SHOULD HAVE GRABBED THAT BLUE 93 CORVETTE YOU LIKED! AND REPLACED THE ENGINE, AND HAD IT PAINTED SILVER! EVERYTHING ELSE ON THAT CAR YOU SAID WAS PERFECT! ALL THE PARTS WERE PERFECT.. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND A LITERALLY PERFECT C4 FOR THE TYPE OF MONEY YOU ARE LOOKING TO SPEND. SO SEE IF YOU CAN GET THAT BLUE ONE YOU WANTED! IT IS THE BEST DEAL AND CLOSEST TO YOUR DREAM CAR THAN ANY OF THE OTHER ONES YOU WERE LOOKING AT.. AND THAT GUY THAT WAS SELLING A BUNCH OF CORVETTES IN HIS YARD? THE ONE WITH ALL THE GOOD LOOKING PICTURES AND THEN AFTER CALLING HIM ON THE PHONE FIRST AND ASKING ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE CAR? AND HIM TELLING YOU IT WAS GOOD, AND THAT YOU COULD TEST DRIVE IT?? THEN AFTER DRIVING HOURS TO GO SEE IT? AND YOU CANT TEST DRIVE IT AND THE CARS LOOKED SO MUCH WORSE THAN THE PICTURES??? THAT GUY?? YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE HIM PAY YOU ALL THE GAS AND TOLL MONEY YOU SPENT, PLUS SOME MONEY FOR WASTING YOUR TIME, ALL BECAUSE HE FLAT OUT LIED TO YOU! HE PURPOSELY POSTED FALSE PICTURES OF THE CARS HE WAS SELLING! AND HE INTENTIONALLY LIED TO YOU ON THE PHONE ABOUT THE TRUE CONDITIONS OF THOSE CARS AND THAT YOU COULD TEST DRIVE THEM! HE WAS A SELFISH ASSHOLE CON ARTIST AND SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL THAT! ATLEAST A PUNCH IN HIS FACE! PEOPLE LIKE THAT SHOULD GET SOME INSTANT KARMA FOR THEIR CRIMES! YOU SHOULD AT THE LEAST REPORT HIM AND POST AN AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ALL OVER THE CORVETTE SITES ABOUT HIM! SO WORD GETS OUT ABOUT WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE IS REALLY DOING! TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE!

: / YOU SHOULD HAVE ARGUED THAT THE 93 HAD A BAD ENGINE PERIOD! LISTEN TO IT! ALL YOU NEEDED TO DO WAS PUT IN A NEW ENGINE. YEAH, A FEW THOUSAND, BUT, ALL ELSE CONSIDERED? IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WORTH IT.. BUT YOU DID THE RIGHT THING IN TERMS OF OFFERING THE OWNER HALF. I THINK THAT 93 CAR THE BLUE FLORIDIAN YOU LIKED, WAS ONLY WORTH $3000 FOR THE CAR WITHOUT THE ENGINE. BECAUSE IT NEEDED A NEW ENGINE.. YOU KNOW TAKING OUT THE OLD ONE, INSTALLING THE NEW ONE, AND THE COST OF THE NEW ONE, WOULD HAVE COME OUT TO ABOUT $10-11 THOUSAND ANYWAY! SO 3 THOUSAND WOULD HAVE BEEN MY OFFER. BUT I HAVE SEEN THE REST OF THIS VIDEO AT THIS TIME, AND DONT WHAT EVENTUALLY HAPPENED? IM GOING TO FINISH WATCHING NOW..

I did! The video will be coming momentarily. I made content on it already. I have just been busy with work, but it will be here. Takes a lot of work to do video editing. This video was originally 32 minutes long, but I had to cut it short because it was a lot of talking, especially the black Corvette. I had videoed the owner and basically they were explaining to me that they just wanna get rid of it and it basically look like they wanted to punt the car. So I edited that portion out.

I 'm starting to look for a corvette c5 or c6 in texas. currently have an BMW e60. I love the car and runs great but the cost of repairs and maintenance on bmw is crazy. @keltechindustries2090111 күн бұрын
You should look for a well-maintained one with a clean title. And since your paying that much I suggest that car should be near perfect, it should have no leaks and have all of the maintenance documents and drive it like you want it, meaning don’t cruise but drive it hard because your spending at lot of money.
@snipeatyou11 күн бұрын
If you’re buying a c5 that’s C5Z money. Go with a 01+ c5(all z06s are). Running hard I average 17-18mpg. Driving easy you can do 30+ on the highway. Cars are reliable but they like to eat tensioners if you rev it out often(talking multiple pulls to redline a week). These cars are great daily drivers. Sure passenger room is limited and you only get one shitty cup holder but they make aftermarket cupholders for it and as long as you ain’t got kids you’re good.

@@snipeatyou that's about the millage I get with my bmw e60. 32 hwy, 16 city. I've just started looking. Thanks, plus I think the cost of maintenance is way lower than bmw. A new starter cost me $1500, and new battery was $500.
