Actually... 4.2 V8 is much More reliable than 3.2. V8 has timing belt that you have to repleace every 80 000 miles and it has no issues. V8 is much More powerfull . I only recommend V8 version

Hey man, great video. Ive owned my Touareg V6 Petrol since nw 2004... Just can't bring myself to sell her. Best car Ive owned, ever. All the problems you mentioned are spot on... And... here in Australia, the prices for the T1's V6 petrol, R50's and v10's are starting to creep up in price. I have had a number of random people approach me at fuel stations asking about the car.

I've been considering a 2005 V8 for the extra HP. I've heard that the VR6 is a little on the unimpressive side. I have a 2002 eurovan with vr6 and I like it well enough, but I'm not convinced I'm going to prefer towing 7700 lbs with one

COSIGN! Agree with 98% of what you mention in this video. I also have a 2005 T1. The brake vacuum hoses are definitely problematic with splits and age. I almost crashed in mine pulling out of a parking lot because the brake hose separated. But easy to replace with patience. Would love to swap stories and knowledge if you are ever in the DMV area.

@keltechindustries209015 жыл бұрын
Baudilio Betancourt Girotto you are very welcome. And as I stated in the video. I would recommend the Vr6 model. Parts are a lot cheaper and reliability is better than the V8 and the V10.

To correct 1 thing. The bigger rims on any vehicle PERIOD takes away from the driving performance of the vehicle do to pulling from uneven roads. If you have bigger than 19 in rims your going to have issues regardless of how much they just cost you ! #Facts
@keltechindustries209012 жыл бұрын
Yes sir you are absolutely correct. But for me speaking on my behalf of the vehicle it was a smoother ride. Yes you lose performance but this vehicle was not used for its performance.
