It's like Buddy Rich there is no debate or dispute they're just the best there ever was, they shine like diamonds forever. Nobody comes close the Django.

Who is the person in the picture? A Django impersonator? Looks similar but 100% not him.

There really is a place beyond beauty and this fellow owned the key . He only had two fully operational fingers on his fret hand , which really echoes his mastery .I heard him and Grapelli play when I was young and have been mesmerised ever since.

YOU ARE RIGHT. DJANGO WAS A MUSICAL ILETERATE. WHAT MY TEACHER DID WAS PUT HIS MUSIC TO PAPER. HE DID THE SAME FOR ANOTHER GUITAR GENIUS HAWAIIAN STEEL GUITAR GREAT SOL HOOPIHI.

Chet Atkins and mark Knopfler do a version on neck and neck, its so lame and dull , I couldn't believe it , and I do like them both lots , but it was a mistake to record it , Django and Stephen just create unbeatible magic here

This is good stuff. Funnily enough, I'm here because Django was mentioned in a rap by Ren, from The Hunger - "Kiddie with a black heart in a car park by Primark Jamming Django Reinhardt". I just might be going down this rabbit hole.

I love listening to the recordings by Django without Stephane Grapelli because Stephane over powers Django's fine playing.
