I am 62 years old. when I was14 I studied guitar from a real master. His name was Richard Choi. He was 65 years old and retired at this time. Back in the 1930's he was head music arranger for NBC radio. He met Django and Stephane Grappelle. He played with them and did the music arrangements for them. My teacher did not care for Grapplle. When he talked about Django there was that look of reverence. In 1969, he pulled out an old 78 rpm record of Django's. It blew me away! He was light years ahead of his times. My teacher had all those arrangements with Django. I have an idea where it might be.

Djangos voice there is the best. Just few musicians enjoying their music and Django 2:12 just says ye man, we know this, just cmon, like do something brave, new and diferent, ur good just do it i know u want it. From 2:15 u can hear Stephane is preparing tension and melody for awesome 2:30 moment and everybody is enjoying it. "YEA!" The best music is when after u finish playing the song, everybody is laughing of joy!

Django's playing is in itself a master class in comping with chord inversions, substitutions, and maintaining swing feel even through solos. No guitarist's education, regardless of genre played, is complete without a study of Django's music.
