Mono you really managed to suppress a giggle. Right? South African flavor, well done. We Zimbabweans are loving that woman more and more by the day. One day we want her in Zim at a special function, to sing ''gibberish' style', it's ok, we are enjoying it. In fact, she must keep doing it like that. SADC should honor such initiatives that promote regional integration. What you have done here, Mono, is no mean feat.

This is the Zimbabwean rooted music that needs to be exported. Taneta nekutora music from other parts of the world and claim it to be ours. Nyasha is destined for greater heights.

Great conversation. True about VaMugabe being celebrated by many Jamaican and black Americans. Sad we demonise African instruments when European instruments are still being used to call their spirits. The education system needs serious upgrades. We should seriously consider learning in our vernacular, the French and Latinos do it to mention a few. That's what will bring confidence to our people

Very detailed narrative. I just need an eye opener. What do you refer to as Zim music? Is it lyric, video, dressing....i wish i could get that pencilled. One person who is interested in Zim culture and its promotion.😮

When I have time, I will explain in detail, but in the meantime, here's some homework: Research on Mbira music, Chimurenga music, Oliver Mtukudzi, Thomas Mapfumo, and Mbube music.
