I know this is a 10yo video but I wanted to thank you for it! I’m a 64 yo woman and just replaced the switch in about 15 minutes.

It's not hard now that I know how. Pushing a single tab in and "Popping" it out is not the way to do it. There are two tabs, one on each side. You have to push them into the hole, not away from the hole. Put a key in the lock and rotate it some. Put that in a vice and then pry the two tabs inward and pull on the key. The locking assembly will simply slip out without having to use a hammer. Turn it to the orientation you desire and you're good to go. Yeah, your method worked, but it's not the right way. There's a pickle fork tool that will bring those tabs in and drop the lock directly, just as you say at about 1:35.

How to check for charge and fix

Your condenser wasn't bent up enough to even mess with, and your "repair" seemed to take forever. I hope there's a more efficient way than that.

I know i need a heater core because theres a puddle on the floor, no leaks but when I fill up the reservoir its empty when I get back home. Not overheating though

You can’t buy the shell he’s using in the video now. All the replacements won’t fit the oem key blade or the swivel mechanism. If you do this you’re forced to have the supplied key blank cut to match your original one.

2006 Range Rover Sport Dashboard lights on after Battery was dead---Help | Land Rover and Range Rover Forum Battery had died and had to get jumped started and charged up THEN the following lights all came on : Brake (amber) plus two other lights ( not worried about tire pressure light) and I received the message HDC system Not Available message The car is lowered to lowest setting I recently also had sunroof leak and had the hoses replaced and thought that the brake switch had gotten wet so I watched a KZbin video and replaced that switch (blue and white switch) Nothing changed. Have new compressor installed year ago, new alternator installed, wiring checked and hoses replaced for water all pretty recently. (Repair shop) This is my son's car and I am just a mom trying to fix anything I can before taking to repair shop Any suggestions of what else to easily check myself

I got one with only black wires so I don't know how to out it back since the new has red and black. How do I find out where the red goes? Hope someone reads this., thanks

I just received this error message. Unfortunately whoever installed our dishwasher, did it before the floors were put in. In order to pull the dishwasher out we would have to cut the floors or the counter, both terrible options. One of my children had put a small puzzle piece in the drain which I think was causing it to fill up too much with water . I’ve removed it, is there anyway to get rid of this as I think the machine would work properly without the puzzle piece. I’ve left it unplugged for about an hour and did not. Do you think the water will eventually dry out on its own and the machine will work again?

With the electric base mirror in good position, the most important part is localize the “two ears” right and snap. Thank you!

I HAVE A FIX After having transmission fault,hdc fault and a list of others I found the cause of the issue ,water had manage to find its way down the back of the scuttle panel where it meets the windscreen and had been pooling behind the battery where wiring is . What I did was remove the battery, remove and water out with a rag and used an airline to dry all wiring out along with where the water had originally pooled and checked for corrosion ,once I was happy I put everything back together and double checked everything worked as it should and for 5 weeks now I’ve had no faults show at all . I used tiger seal around the small gap it was getting through to stop water getting in again causing the same issue again Really hopes this helps someone and saves you a few hundred pounds/dollars .

Thanks for uploading. My Discovery Sport is a 2015 model and RHD. The instructions work although the filter housing is on the right as you look into the footwell. In addition the cover on mine was black but fixings identical. A bit of a faff but only took maybe 15 minutes in total. Filter was dirty and OEM from factory so 9 years of accumulated dust and dirt. New filter should make a difference!

I got lucky and found your video by chance after paying 190.00 dollars for a water leak and finding out I have a toilet that has been leaking for a month. I fixed the flabber but it is still leaking so now I needed to know where else it is leaking. Watching your video helped me to figure out how to replace the other parts, not too happy that I have to take the tank off but you made it easy I hope the bolts come off easy like yours did.

Perfect video someone flattened all the fins of our industrial dehumidifier. First ill get an AC tech to check pressure then ill get a matching comb. It might take a week. I can only guess at the cost of installing new one. 🎇😁

Just a warning kwikset changes the lock design this fix does not work anymore. I broke a lockset over this.

My problem is different, my fan turns very slowly without any power going to it. I changed out the wall switch and turned the breaker off, the fan still turns very slowly (4-5 RPMs). Can a faulty capacitor allow the fan to turn with the electrical charge from the capacitor without any power going to it? Thank you for your help.
