What a lovely place to spend some family time, thank you for sharing! I remember doing that with my son, seems like yesterday. He's 25 and been gone on his own for 7 years now. Time flies, enjoy!

Shelby 🐕 zoomies are the best, though so much excitement. It's as if you can see happiness they look like they are smiling.I want to work on the front garden more next year as well, so if you have any ideas, that would be great, I don't like mowing it it's small but it's such a pain to do

It's a testament that these buildings are still around today over centuries, the architecture surpasses what we have today in my eyes, I'm lucky enough to have a castle in my hometown, if only the walls could talk! Hi Carol, I know I'm just glad I didn't knock anything over, it's like stepping back in time in a garden centre, you just don't see things like sugared almonds and marzipan fruits in most places. I liked the bulbs which had already flowered in the bag🌷

I bet it is quite a relief to get rid of that mixer! I suppose you could have painted it to look like a ladybug lol, but it is hard to hide something like that. I look forward to seeing the area when you are done! Your choice of bulbs looks very colorful!

Can't wait to see the flower shows in 2025. 😁 Hope all the bulbs will grow in the spring. Depending on the size of the alliums they can get really long. I hope they don't "overshadow" the other plants in the pots.

Thank you, I didn't know what to get and these seemed to be the best value for the size. I am worried when it starts to get cold though it's been so nice this last week, probably the warmest week of the year which is so unusual for us. I will end up doing an update in a month and now the frost has had them, as long as it's not slugs I hope.

Wow! The pots look amazing. Well done! 👏👏👏 On Tuesday, I was on the Mainau Island on Lake Constanze. They had five shelves full of different tulip bulbs. And another one with lilies in all colors and sizes. Thought about you, and bought lily bulbs for 30€. 😂

I just googled Mainau Island it looks stunning, you will have to keep me updated on the Lily bulbs and what varieties you bought. I think I'm going to get some more bulbs as well. I have daffodils and bluebells, but want to get some other flowers on the go for next spring.

Thank you. It took ages, I made so many mistakes and repainted the white bits. The blue would run quite a bit and needed much more work than I was expecting. I'm looking forward to the tulips 🌷when I planted them in the ground the slugs got to them. Hopefully, pots are the way forward.

Thank you. I do love all the carvings. the life cycle of the frog is a really cool one. But the owls are sweet. Lots of the place was closed off. They are spending a lot doing it up, so it would be nice to try it again in a years time.

I have missed eating runner beans though and will have to buy them in again. Hi thank you it was much needed. I'm glad you brought this up because it's something I struggle with everyone's cat uses my garden as a litter box so I'm trying different methods. The veg areas I have been putting up netting etc. I have bought a solar repellant which makes a high pitch noise, I haven't tried this yet but can get this going and do a video on it to see if it's any good. I did see a video on filling a water bottle up and placing it in the borders, people also sprinkle paprika. I never used to have the problem when we had our dog. When I remove weeds now I pat the earth down hard so they can't dig it up. It's a problem which I'm still experimenting with, I could try all the methods and make a video.

What a wonderful video! I enjoy sunflowers. There is a local ice cream place not too far from me that has a huge sunflower field across the street, very cool place but all too popular and often crowded, so I just enjoy a drive by lol. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, the Chipolatas had a great day and you can even spot Mr Time Sausage's waving with them in the pan across the big sunflower field. They had seeds as well for completing the wooden animal trail but we did get a bit sunburnt.

It is nice and cool under the trees on hot sunny days. We are the same always looking for somewhere different to take the kids, we went to pontarddulais garden centre afterwards, I have filmed this and hopefully I will edit it soon. They had a lovely pond, and you can feed the ducks really good value for a big bag of food. They also had ducklings this time of year. They really enjoyed it.
