Message to the guy who made this video..... If you can't control your anger on the field then perhaps reconsider your choice of sport, because you can't be trusted in a contact sport.

Interesting insight into what an American thinks is reasonable. He seems to think that playing a contact sport legitimises violence and vitriol across the board. This gentleman has a lot to learn about sport, sportsmanship, manners, self control and let's face it.... he needs to learn that American's are rarely exemplars of good behaviour. (and that's me being SUPER generous - remember their women's football captain 'bigging it up' before they were thrashed by a team of old men? - typical American 'sportsmanship')

Am not from NZ but you can see a basic infantry formation. Also like the American Indians, these sections are sent out to declare a message of war or peace. In this case, a challenge is being given and awaits a response anyway that's just me but I respect the culture.

in rugby you do not back chat the ref, it's about respect and it is not accepted and for the most part players abide by that

How many American football players die mid game as a result of injury sustained in play? Rugby has regular, but thankfully not to frequent, deaths. Last one was just last September in South Africa. There have been hundreds of deaths playing rugby. You'd be surprised by the stats.
@timholder68258 күн бұрын
"A hundred down to twenty, I can't do that." Then you have no discipline. Which is a big part of sports like this. You can't control yourself get off the field, you're no sportsman. Swearing at the ref is disrespectful. Without respect the ref is ineffective, can't exercise authority. Football (soccer) players get away with it, it's less gentlemanly, a lot of pissy little overpaid primadonnas (I am a footie fan, but I'm under no illusions). Rugby, is considered more honourable in it's code.

I don't know whether you have seen any footage of confrontational Hakas but they are spine tingling. I'd say Wales v All Blacks, France v All Blacks and finally Samoa v All Blacks. Truly, laying down a challenge and accepting it.
