What happened their to their congregation and their home they all built and were proud of. It seems very one sided of you so in respect I will inform you this is the only video of yours. I do pray for you and your walk with God.

@@Justexposingevil Thank you for watching at least part of the video, brother. I appreciate your concern for my walk with God. However, I'm puzzled - if you believe I'm in error, wouldn't love compel you to show me where I've mishandled Scripture? I used numerous biblical texts to make my case. If I've interpreted them wrongly, I'm genuinely open to correction from God's Word. The issue isn't about a building or institution people are proud of - it's about biblical faithfulness in church leadership. If you're willing to continue watching and then show me where my biblical analysis is flawed, I'd welcome that conversation.

Their church was stolen out from under them illegally whilst being intimated, abused, and kicked out of a church by david platts proxies. David should have given their church back after all of his deceit and lies. My heart hurts for all of the members of that church and I pray for them. It's obvious what happened David Platt was sent in by the SBC to take over that church and to get all that money they heard about filtered into their pockets. It's so heartbreaking listening to all the testimonies and hearing how all these people who were very long time members and including sounding members of the church. I pray that David Platt and all of his existence gets erased the same way that he intentionally erased pasor solomons time at Mclain Bible Church. I pray for healing and peace and I pray that the congregation gets their church back and although it will never happen I think all those who intentionally lied and did these despicable actions. The church that I used to be part of several years ago when I used to live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast I play drums in a worship band and our Pastor Bryan Cirlots little sister play keyboard for the worship band in Birmingham where David Platt was the pastor at. We used to get together on the nights when David Platt would do the secret Church simulcast we would sit there for hours on in studying taking notes and I thought that he was a stand-up guy who I should try to be more like it. But now I see what happened since then and seeing who he really is I feel ashamed having ever looked up to someone like that. I wanted to become a memeber of MBC just listening to what God has done in all of these amazing peoples lives. You can see what God was doing at MBC and I wanted to be part of their church family. So many amazing people in the video exposing David platt. Knowing he ruined that broke my heart. God bless!!! Members and past members of MBC please know there are those of us who care and will be praying for all of you.

This message (like my channel) is primarily intended to strengthen believers who already affirm biblical Christianity - salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, as revealed in Scripture alone, for God's glory alone. While I rejoice when others come to embrace biblical truth through these teachings, this comment section isn't meant for debating core doctrines. Those promoting alternative religious views or seeking to defend unbiblical traditions should look elsewhere.

Since we are created in his image, your claim that God created us as darkness would mean that God is also darkness We know this cannot be true: 1 John 1:5 KJV - This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
@GospelNerd
@GospelNerd 10 күн бұрын
@@skl1023 Thank you for engaging with Scripture! If I follow your logic, that would mean that since God created us mortal, He must be mortal too. Or since we're finite beings, God must be finite. We know neither is true. Being made in God's image doesn't mean we share all His attributes (like moral perfection, immortality, omniscience, etc.). Rather, it means we have capacity for relationship with Him, moral responsibility, and ability to reflect His glory... which is exactly what He accomplishes by transforming us from darkness to light (Eph 5:8). Just as a master artist might use dark colors to make light appear more brilliant, God created beings He knew would fall into darkness (Isaiah 45:7 - 'I form the light and create darkness') specifically so that His light could shine all the brighter in redeeming us. I'm curious how you understand Paul's specific wording in Ephesians 5:8 where he says we 'were darkness' (not just 'in darkness'). How would you reconcile this with your perspective?

@@reichardvega-reyes4028 No. While I abused my share of substances in my youth before I was Christian, I never had a serious substance addiction. But I want to be clear about the point of my addiction analogy - we often think God 'forcing' our will would make His love or our love for Him less real. But just as an addict's family doesn't love them less by intervening, God's sovereign work in changing our hearts doesn't make His love or our response less genuine. His sovereignty doesn't diminish the reality of relationship, it enables it. But yes, as sinners, we often return to our sin "like a dog returns to its vomit." The struggle with our fleshly desires is real. But if we belong to Christ, even our own will can not defeat His power to save us. He will have every soul that belongs to Him in the end.

Nice passion. I agree with parts of it. Atheists are fond of the phrase god-of-the-gaps to refer to the human tendency to assume the various forces of nature have a sentient being behind them. This mindset underlies Neil's criticisms because he fails to understand that the Christian view of God is a hodgepodge of evolutionary God concepts admixed with some divine concepts of our Divine Father-friend. He thinks that God is (should be) involved in controlling forces of nature as thou he were Zeus, just over there on Mt. Olympus. Evolutionary religion was built up by people attempting to appease these gods-of-the-gaps in an effort to persuade them not to destroy their village. This is an erroneous line of thought. And yet, it prepared the mental soil for a belief in a higher power underlying all of everything. The actual God (not a god-of-the-gaps) is primarily concerned with spiritualizing our natures. What we have to do as animals in order to survive, is unimportant as it has to do with the material, not the spiritual. But it was important enough for our Paradise Creator Son to incarnate as a human in order to understand our trials and tribulations from our point of view. This increased his already impressive Mercy ministry for us. (Yes, I'm referring to Jesus, aka Michael of Nebadon, sovereign ruler of our universe.) The spiritualizing part comes in the form of interacting with a spirit fragment of God called a Thought Adjuster, which indwells our minds, there to share in our experiences, and to interact with us in such a way as to guide us forward in our journey to becoming spiritual beings.

Human beings are still more confused and uncertain about the relationships of the divine personalities designated by these numerous appellations. Divided in 4 parts: The Central and Superuniverses, The Local Universe, The History of Urantia, and The Life and Teachings of Jesus. The last part fills in all the missing years of Jesus' life and leads to a much fuller understand of both the man and his message. The issue isn't what God 'needs' - He's completely self-sufficient. But also, you're selling redemption far too short. God isn't just "rescuing us" like a reset back to Eden - He's creating something infinitely more glorious through Christ's redemption than could have existed without the fall... I'm curious.. What do you consider the 'better answers'?
@Dizerner
@Dizerner Ай бұрын
@GospelNerd The problem with a lot of apologist's theodicies is they are man-centered, they are geared and motivated by making you "feel better" about the fall, when that violates the Biblical morality and principle handed to us, that's God love does not put us first-it puts his own glory and holiness first. Thus a creation-enthroned theodicy is a misguided attempt to placate the self-centered and sinful nature of mankind who will never accept that God's importance, his ultimate value, his supreme worth above all creation, his fundamental right to be the single most exalted thing by virtue of his infinite substance and authoring and sustaining all other things, is the guiding principle of a true Biblical theodicy. The collateral damage, the delegated responsibility, the value of the severity of all judgment on sin, the extent of the punishment for wrongs done, are things that will never "feel right" to the innate morality of a soul who makes itself the center of all worth over God, and Jesus never minced words that somehow God will "seem okay" to a sinful soul if we just work hard enough to make it seem like there are plenty of good reasons to curse an entire creation for one man's sin. No, Jesus promised us the Gospel would be offensive and bring offense, and if you goal is to somehow say it's not offensive, but that it can seem right and good to an idolatrous value system, I challenge you to stop and ask the Holy Spirit if there is something wrong with how you are describing and defending the Gospel. Don't get me wrong-I both believe in the Gospel and want it preached, but not where it glosses over the truth and postures claims it never makes, that is a bad witness. You may at first think what I'm saying is "the same" thing as what you said, or the difference I make seems inconsequential. I assure you, it is not. There are assumptions being laden with the Gospel presentation that really are idolatrous and do not recognize the true difficulty of the problem of evil to our souls, how difficult for us it is to find a morally justified reason that actually works, and how we must exalt God even without the answer, and when it comes it will never even please us in a million years. Humans naturally devalue God-they count God as not worth much, not "worth it," not worth a sea of endless suffering just become one man rebelled against him. And that will never, ever in a thousand lifetimes seem right to a man who refuses to put God on the throne. So all these soul-building theodicies, these greater-good theodicies, they not only fail logically and morally, they misrepresent the truth that Scripture presents us, that the Gospel is foolishness because we exalt creation over Creator. Making us "feel better" about babies born with tumors is not going to drive a man to repentance for the hell his sin deserves, and one must never act like it will. Peace and respect.
