Just found your channel and have been learning lots. Can you tell me where you found the rope making machine? Also why do you wax the ropes?

Thank you for watching! I applied wax to prevent fraying, but since DMC materials hardly fray, I hardly do it anymore. The machine is homemade, so it is not for sal 😓

I use blackening solution for brass. Birchwood's Brass Black is well-known, but since it's difficult to obtain in Japan, I sometimes use similar products.

Hello Takanao, if that is your first name?:) The reason I ask is I don't want to be disrespectful. I have just finished watching your build log of this ship, up to this point, and I have to say that I'm so impressed with your work😊 Your attention to detail and the way you treat the model itself and the materials you use with respect, is so great 😊 And the fact that you not only make your own parts, but you also make your own tools to make parts is simply mind blowing:) There is not enough words to describe who much I enjoy your videos:) I follow a few wooden model ship builders on KZbin, but you're in a different league:) Not to be disrespectful to the others, but your work is better😊 I'm looking forward to your next upload and to your next project also:) Keep up the amazing work😊

Thank you for your continued support 😊
