For example, the Spider nebula is roughly 60,000 trillion miles away. For us to be able to see it, the light bouncing off of it would need to travel that entire distance, and since we know the speed of light, we know how long it would take to cover that distance, which is approximately 10,000 years. That proves that 10,000 years of time has existed, and the Spider nebula is not even close to the furthest body we can see. We can see the light coming from objects that are millions of light years away, objects that we would not be able to see unless their light had millions of years of time to travel to us.
