Nice setup real similar to what I have been installing. The cerbo gx display is great to add. As far as solar panels. My recommendation is adding 2 320 watt renogy panels which is what I think you have on top. This would give you 1280 watts solar on top and not need to worry about match panel voltages. We have the 250/100 mppt. And 4 panels on our 2022 36v11 Valor. Planning on adding another mppt and wiring such that I can use portable solar cells as needed. Currently planning on 2 400 watt panel to give me a total of 2000 watts solar. Currently only 400 amps lithium batteries. Like how he wired your Linux distributor. Our multiples is mounted horizontal cause of not enough height. You’re lucky in that respect. Your install look’s good.

How are you going to add solar panels? I talked with another dealer about my 29RL and he said that I would need to remove my current panels and then add 3 200 watt Rich Solar panels.
@TravelswithDelaney15 сағат бұрын
That’s interesting. I wonder why? Myron is just going to add another panel to the existing one. Probably a 200 watt which will bring us up to 520 total
@bass358715 сағат бұрын
@@TravelswithDelaney Probably trying to sell me one of theirs. Let me know what kind you get and I'll probably get the same.
@markbonderud243015 сағат бұрын
The only concern is matching panel voltages/watts. No need to rebuy/ replace panels to make someone else money.. just get the largest mppt you can the first time so you can add panels as you can.

We just got back from a 1000 mile trip with the Anderson hitch it is such an improvement. Even the wife likes the hitch. Said between the electric tongue jack and the new hitch they are the best investments I’ve made in the camper.
@georgestevens3770Күн бұрын
After hours of watching videos of this wdh, and pretty much every reviewer saying the same thing, this set up not recommended for larger trailers. So, I contacted Andersen with the question..."is this hitch suitable for a 35' 7400lb. travel trailer?" The response was "they work great with small and large travel trailers. And clearly, it was someone who reads from an answer sheet. Never could talk to a real tech. So I believe I'm gonna try the R6.
@TravelswithDelaneyКүн бұрын
I personally would not use the Anderson with a trailer that big. We found it worked great with our 23' 5700# Lance but also felt like we were on the upper end especially in terms of weight distribution.

We haven’t ran a time test yet but I’m planning to do that this summer. My estimated guess is around 5 hours. I paid $1800 for the LiTime batteries last fall. We have about $2400 in the work Myron did for us but he gives us a discount on parts and labor.

Hello, I'm looking for some help. I just finished my first DIY portable power box a 24v system including two 100amp LifePO, 24 volt inverter 3000watts and Victron 100/20 a 150 amp marine breaker and a bus bar. I've connected everything but the victron app is not charging. the blue light flashes apps is working and I configured the battery type and volts. made sure all connection are solid and positive oriented. Tested with another Victron 100/20 and same result. the solar panel is a 200 Watts and can power up my 12/24 volt portable fridge. I wish I could share pictures on here. Thanks for the video it helps to understand and troubleshooting.

Our rv last trip we were on I-4 heading south, and the Garmin kept wanting to take us off I-4. It kept announcing every upcoming exit. Very annoying. This was an expensive purchase. Wonder if users have returned it and gotten their money back.

Patrick , When does it show that that rv was built on your sticker doesn't show on camera shot only asking because alliance is showing 29RL GVWR 10995 and Dry Wt 9488 which cuts cargo capacity down to 1507 Looking at purchasing alliance model also are there two grey tanks? shows 106gal 53gal each tank? 1 sewer connection? Thanks Patrick

Out manufacturing date was 3/2024. The sticker on our unit lists the GVWR at 11,895#. On the tanks, there is a gray tank for the bathroom and a 2nd gray tank for the kitchen. Those along with the black tank all are emptied through a single outlet

Hello Patrick, I have watched many of your videos. I have learned quite a bit over the years from your content. I want to thank you for the education. Our RV purchases follow in parallel to what you guys have purchased. We started with the Nucamp Tab 400, then the Lance 2285, and now we have the KZ D240RKD. We very much considered Alliance until we found the new KZ floorplan that was perfect for us. I drove from Massachusetts to Nappanee IN to purchase the 5th wheel in March 2024. We feel we got very good value and we are very happy with our purchase to date. I’m curious, since KZ is basically in your backyard, why you didn’t consider the KZ brand. Our 5th wheel floor plan is fantastic……. we have a full length closet, residential refrigerator, pantry, two AC’s, Maxxfan Deluxe, good suspension, tires, 50” TV with sound bar (all of it works great). There is also a wardrobe slide out along with prep for washer/dryer. It has a drop frame which allows for 35% more pass through storage. There is a small compartment for a flat grill and sink. Tank capacities and CCC is decent too. All just under 32'.

Just have to be real conscious of how we load. If I had a lower trim model there would be no concern. Really dont want to bump up to a 3500 I like my truck, we'll see.

Beautiful new rig. I would think it will serve you guys very well. I am hoping you will be making a video of your CAT scale experience. It is typically one of my first stops anytime I get a new trailer or tow vehicle. For anyone that is towing their rig any significant distance, I consider this essential information. Once I am fully loaded for travel, I certainly want to know how much weight I have, and where it is located (steer, drive or trailer axles). It takes a bit of time and has a small cost, but well worth it in my opinion for safety and peace of mind. Continued safe travels....

@TravelswithDelaney13 күн бұрын
I don't know the exact measurement but I can tell you that with a 5th wheel, its typically almost the full length of the trailer as opposed to a tow behind where you typically loose about 3 feet for the tongue
