I have always really liked that about this setup. Its just natural to look up there to see what is behind you.

During your installation you mentioned that you would potentially need the range extender for the camera. Where did you end up on that?

Did you have trouble with your RD10 when you used the turn signals or brake lights? It somehow zaps the signal for a few seconds on ours. Looks like a nice camera. Glad they did something about the night IR display!

No....we never had any issue like that with the RD10. I wonder if its some kind of interference the trailer brake wiring?

Does this signal that a car is coming up on your trailer or just the car? I have Bliss on my car which works great but that won’t kick in until the sensor on the back of the car is triggered but I also want that feature on my car to continue to work.

It signals when a vehicle is coming up on the trailer. It uses the rearview camera to do that.

I just bought a Tab 400 (first time for me to pull anything behind me!). Do you think one of these cameras is needed while towing such a small camper?

We never had a rear camera on our T@B 400. I was able to see behind us through the trailer by keeping the shades open on the front and rear windows.

Halo view has terrible customer service and they stop working after 2 trips.
