*Prajñāpāramita-hṛdayam sūtra* [Oṃ Homage to the World respected, Holy Perfection of Wisdom 頂禮世尊 聖般若多羅密多] आर्यावलोकितेश्र्वरो बोधिसत्व गम्भीरां प्रज्ञापरमिताचर्या चरमाणो व्यवलोकयति स्म पञ्चस्कन्धास्तांश्र्स्वरुपशुन्यान्पष्पति स्म। When the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara was coursing in the deep Prajñā Pāramitā, he perceived that all five skandhas were empty. Thus, he overcame all ills and suffering. 觀自在菩薩，行深般若波羅蜜多時，照見五蘊皆空，度一切苦厄。 इह शारिपुत्र रूपं शून्यता शून्यतैव रूपम्। रूपन्नपृथक् शून्यता शून्यताया न प्रुथग्रुपम् । यद्रूपं सा शून्यता या शून्यता तदेवरुपम । एवमेव वेदनासंज्ञासंसकारविज्ञानम् O, Śāriputra, form does not differ from voidness, and voidness does not differ from form. Form is voidness and the void is a form; the same is true for feeling, conception, volition and consciousness. 舍利子，色不異空，空不異色；色即是空，空即是色。受、想、行、識，亦復如是。 इह शारिपुत्र सर्वधर्माः शून्यतालक्षणा अनुत्पन्ना अनिरुद्धा अमला अविमला अनूना अपरिपूर्णाः । तस्माच्छारिपूत्र शून्यतायां न रूपं न वेदना न संज्ञा न संस्कार न विज्ञानम् । O, Śāriputra, the characteristics of the voidness of all dharmas are non-arising, non-ceasing, non-defiled, non-pure, non-increasing, non-decreasing. 舍利子，是諸法空相，不生不滅，不垢不淨，不增不減， Therefore, Śāriputra, in the void there is no form, feeling, conception, volition or consciousness. 是故空中無色，無受、想、行、識; न चक्षुः श्रोत्रघ्राणजिह्नाकायमनांसि। न रूपशब्दगन्धरसस्प्रष्टव्यधर्मा। न चक्षुर्घातुर्यावन्नमनोविज्ञानधातुः । No eye, ear, nose, tongue, body or mind; no form, sound, smell, taste, touch, mind-object; or eye realm, until we come to no realm of consciousness. 無眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意； 無色、聲、香、味、觸、法； 無眼界，乃至無意識界; नाविद्य नाविद्यक्षयो यावन्नजरामरणं न जरामरणक्षयो न दुःखसमुदयनिरोधमार्गा न ज्ञानं न प्राप्तिर्नाप्राप्तिः। तस्माच्छारिपूत्राप्रप्तिवाद्धोधिसत्व प्रज्ञापारमितामाश्रित्व विहरत्यचित्तावरणः । No ignorance and also no ending of ignorance, until we come to no old age and death and no ending of old age and death. 無無明，亦無無明盡；乃至無老死，亦無老死盡。 Also, there is no truth of suffering, of the cause of suffering, of the cessation of suffering, or of the Path; 無苦、集、滅、道; There is no wisdom, and there is no attainment whatsoever. Because there is nothing to be attained by, Śāriputra, the Bodhisattva, relying on the Prajñā Pāramitā, has no obstruction in his mind. 無智亦無得，以無所得故。舍利子, 菩提薩埵， 依般若波羅蜜多故，心無罣礙。 चित्तावरणनास्तितत्वदत्रस्तो विपर्याप्तातिक्रान्तो निष्ठावानिर्वाणप्राप्तः । त्र्यध्वव्यवस्थिताः सर्वबुद्धाः प्रज्ञापारमितामश्रित्यानुत्तरां सम्यक्संभोधिमभिसंबुद्धाः । Because there is no obstruction, he has no fear; and thus, he passes far beyond confused imagination and reaches Ultimate Nirvana. 無罣礙，故無有恐怖;遠離顛倒夢想，究竟涅槃。 The Buddhas of the past, present and future, also relying on the Prajñā Pāramitā, have attained Supreme Enlightenment. 三世諸佛，依般若波羅蜜多故，得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。 तस्माज्ज्ञातव्यं प्रज्ञापारमितामहामंत्रो महाविधामंत्रो ङनुत्तरमंत्र समसममंत्रः सर्वदुःखप्रषमणः सत्यममिथ्यत्वात् । Therefore, the Prajñā Pāramitā is the great magic spell, the great spell of illumination, the supreme spell, the incomparable spell which can truly protect one from all suffering without fail. 故知般若波羅蜜多，是大神咒，是大明咒，是無上咒，是無等等咒，能除一切苦，真實不虛。 प्रज्ञापारमितायामुक्तो मंत्रस्तधता गते गते पारगते पारसंगते बोधि स्वाहा ।। Hence, he uttered the spell of the Prajñā Pāramitā, saying , “Go, go, go beyond, go altogether beyond, Awakening! All-hail!” 故說般若波羅蜜多咒，即說咒曰： "揭諦、揭諦，波羅揭諦，波羅僧揭諦，菩提 薩婆訶。"
