I too have started learning Sanskrit though very late despite having exposed to in my childhood being an Indian. I am sooo happy to hear you say that about the refined pronunciation. I started studying it over 20 years ago solely for the pronunciation and my teacher knew it. He drilled me for hours several days every week. And I spent hours walking in circles in the kitchen, listening and repeating line after line. Good stuff! ❤ I live outside Detroit, Michigan. I imagine Ann Arbor would be a better location for your performance, though.

Many, many blessings have taken place through your existence, dear Gaiea. I remember a few years ago, when I was in 10th grade, I think, that I was brokenhearted and searching for meaning in life. At that time, I was beginning to develop a premature spirituality, although still Christian based. I also have a passion for languages (I’m a language nerd). I once came across a video about liturgical languages, where Sanskrit has its place, of course. I became interested, so I searched for Buddhist songs in Sanskrit. Your version of the Heart Sutra was the first I found. Then, in a video about Sanskrit, the creator used your _Priyaṃ Bhārataṃ_ as an example of the language. Your face has become the face of Sanskrit in the West. In time, I began creating unstable theories about existence, which were quite excentric for me. When I started reading the translations of your songs, I came to understand that all those “conspiracy theories” had already been formulated in India thousands of years ago and in a more clear manner. You inspired me to read the _Bhagavad Gītā_, _Rāmāyaṇa_, to look into spirituality, I converted to Buddhism, I came to understand the basics of Hinduism, and now I am on my way to find happiness and bliss. Thank you again! Like your actions gave me well-being, so shall my actions give well-being to others. May we all work like in a web to bring peace and compassion in this realm!

I’m from South Central Pennsylvania. If you make it through these parts, there are many beautiful places to gather, both urban and rural between between Gettysburg, Harrisburg and Lancaster. In fact Lancaster celebrates outdoor music in the city during the warmer months through an organization called MFE(Music For Everyone) who pays musicians to settle in around the city and breathe life into it on Saturday afternoons.

I have always liked Sanskrit and Spirituality, for me it goes hand in hand. Sanskrit is the best and probably the only door to experience real Spirituality. As myself being an Indian, I have been taught Sanskrit in middle school but i didn't took it seriously, and i kinda regret it. Anyway, the ancient song you sang Madalasa in Sanskrit, from that moment i loved every video and voice of yours. Thanks for pushing Sanskrit and our culture in West. By the way, I live in Bad Meinberg, a small, tranquil town of 5,000 inhabitants in the middle of Germany. Here in Bad Meinberg there is a very large yoga ashram (Yoga Vidya) in the tradition of Swami Sivananda. Perhaps there will be an opportunity for you and the cosmic choir here in Bad Meinberg for a musical satsang or a concert. The place would definitely be suitable for that.
