Watching season 2 reminded me of the end of Horizon when it started to show "here's what to come" and I was confused for a whole minute not realizing it wasn't the movie going schizophrenic. Season 2 was a 9 episode of what's to come for the next 5-8 seasons, and you gotta watch to see how we get there. Only there is no more, there is no details, no soul, no continuity.

Season 2 was what happens when creators don't think they will ever get a second season...so they put all their effort into season 1. Then, when it's successful and they get a season 2...they have nothing left in the tank. For some reason, they assumed that people loved it for the animation. Turns out that people liked the animation, but they loved the story. Season 2 was written by committee...possibly Ai. In other words...it sucked.

I agree with Season 1 it was a masterpiece in writing, directing, animation, music, acting. Sadly imo a particular rainbow plot armoured character namely Caitlyn ruined Season 2 if she was dispatched in the first episode by deleting herself the Season would have thrived by a more engaging storyline with the other characters.

Watched most of season one, animation is great, but the story is just okay. Honestly, Pantheon is a much more intriguing show story wise and better paced despite very little action. And speaking of the last 30 years, Young Justice is the most under appreciated great show animated or otherwise.
