No, sorry. These torque meters are no longer readily available. When they do occasionally appear for sale, they are sold at a premium price.

@ProAudioRevival yes, too much will eat away at the drum and prematurely wear out the transport. And too little will make the error rates skyrocket.

Hi thats a great looking mitsubishi radio cassette. Not seen one of these models before. The display backlight and characters match the colour of my 1997 mitsubishi galants climate control panel. Also it beeps when you press the buttons and its the same tone as the climate control buttons. Would love to fit one of these to make it look original. Do you know where i could get one? Would be great if you do. Good video thanks for posting.

Your only bet would be Japan; at least, that's the only place I find them. They're indeed almost impossible to source and pretty difficult to restore, but very, very cool nonetheless!

Hello there, I've got one of these with an issue error code 4 and it ejects the tape immediately after inserting. Is that a loading error?
@ProAudioRevival Жыл бұрын
Hi, yes, Error 4, 5 and 6 are loading and threading errors. It's not an easy machine to fix so beware.

Hello there. I bought it from this device, but when I start playing it, the tape plays like fast-winding, it gives sound from the jack, I couldn't get any sound from the back out. are these devices ntsc system? Doesn't he read the tapes in Turkey?
@ProAudioRevival2 жыл бұрын
This is an audio recorder not a video recorder so no NTSC, PAL etc here. Should play without issue if it was working properly. It needs a service from what you are describing.

@technics-n-thuiast83462 жыл бұрын
I have the Technics SV-DA10 in that rare champagne color. It is an excellent DAT player/recorder. Unlike the Panasonic twins, Technics was more of a home DAT unit wheres Panasonic ones were used as a professional recorders in studios. Fun fact, every Panasonic was a bit different, ( all models were simultaneously produced ) so depending if it was used for live concert recordings, in studio for recording or editing. They have had different DA/AD Converters, different inputs and outputs and 4100 even had wired remote. Truly fun toys :)

The first two large number blocks should give you the hours. At least, that's how my PCM2700 (which is a 77ES in disguise) does it.

IIRC, even the Nakamichi 1000 DAT used this mechanism, albeit flipped on its side with the cassette standing vertically. Also, I believe the Kenwood DX-7030 was also based on that mechanism. And maybe even the Pioneers 🤔
