I watch this video to see if they have the same clunk mine do when retracted. Mine has the same clunk when retracted. Maybe it’s normal? I’ve seen other amp steps that are quiet when retracted. Hmmmmm 😎 great video!!!!

I just installed my AMP Research Powersteps on my 2022 Ranger today. Yes, the clunk at the very end of the closure is normal. I installed them on a GMC Sierra AT4 and that too had the clunk at the end. It seems the clunk is the final snugging of the steps against the rockers by the motor,

Can I ask you if the passenger side motor is opposite of the drivers? Oriented towards the back of the truck while the drivers is oriented towards front of truck. Any help would be appreciated….

The BFG KO2 285/70/17 fit without lift in the Ranger.. for this lift you should use 315/70/17.

This is a FANTASTIC video! Great camera angles! Showing each step in detail, like WHERE to insert the pry tools, is super helpful. I'm in the middle of removing my ST2's center console to swap out the shifter with a short-shifter and do a bushing install and I ran into a roadblock with removing the e-brake. You showed us exactly how it's done. Thank you!
