2019 Ford Ranger - BDS 3.5" Lift Install with Ranger Raptor Wheels and BFG KO2s

I finally got my BDS 3.5" Lift with BDS Upper Control Arms. All that extra height means I can finally run my Ranger Raptor wheels along with BFG KO2 285/70/R17s. I also installed some FactionFab 1.5" hubcentric wheel spacers to make enough room for the tire to clear the spindle. Please enjoy!

Awesome vid, new sub here! I’m just upgrading from an old 2006 ranger (which I’ve loved) to a 2015 ranger limited. Problem here in the uk is that the new fords are plagued with shit oil pumps which are failing and causing engines to seize. Buying a Ford over here is like playing Russian roulette!

The BFG KO2 285/70/17 fit without lift in the Ranger.. for this lift you should use 315/70/17.

offset spacers are needed for 285/70r17 even after 3.5" lift??? i was planning for a modest 2" lift and upsizing with same spec tyres as on the Ranger Raptor.... not a big fan of using offsets.... is there any way out??

The offset spacers aren't required, I just used them so the wheels stick out to match the fender flares better. You can run 285/70r17s with a 3.2" lift without spacers as long as the wheels have the same backspacing as factory wheels.

Rookie mistake, did you have trouble putting nuts back on after cutting down threads, always put a nut on first so it retreads after you cut.. nice lift

Hey mate great work there , If I were to keep the stock ride with stock tires , would the 3.5 inc lift and 1 inc wheel spacers do it ? Or do u suggest to just go with the 2 inch leveling kit and 1 inch spacers ? . Appreciate your response 😄

Great video. I purchased the 2021 Tremor, but even then, the front sags. Was looking to do a spacer up front as to not have to adjust coil over and sacrifice ride quality. But wondering if I should do a UCA to correct BJ angle, or if the Tremor already comes with different UCA's

Mine aren't rubbing, but I'm lifted 3.5" now and have the BDS high clearance crash bars. Didn't cut them, just replaced them.

Looks pretty sweet. I dig that pneumatic lift rig! You got a brand/model on that for us? I just bought my '19 Ranger XLT FX4 about 4 days ago and priced this exact lift. I've put it through the ringer as a stock setup and I'm very pleased even though I've spent the last 15 years wheeling Jeep Wranglers. I wanted to see how it would look/perform and I think it looks absolutely great! The only difference, I'm running stock rims with KO2 265/70/R17s so I'll have to upgrade rims and rubber asap. Any rubbing going lock-to-lock after adding the 1.5" spacers? Thanks again for the video and keep up the good work!

Regarding the rubbing, there is very slight rubbing on the driver's side both on the front and rear 'crash bars', but my BDS Crash Bars just arrived and I'll be throwing those on to completely get rid of the rubbing.
