Movie synopsis: Gay son leaves rancher father (as he cannot stand cattle). Him and his domestic parterner get a son who is also gay - and a SJW. Dad dies & son leaves to look for grandpaw, and tackles this with dandy red boots and a more dandy feux cowboy hat. Their little dramaw dramaw end up in Mexico. Grandpaw gets some money (from gawd) and soy(grandson)boy says no leave it (money being inherently evil - as soyboys tend to feel). Along the way a mexican gal gets involved in their redneck family drama - some just can smell money a mile away - and these guys reek of it, as everyone is chasing them. At the point of maximum confusion where they flee, are robbed, and other dramaw dramaw, soyboy decides to tell grandpaw that dad is dead and that he caused it and also tells mexican gal she is trash. That sure enough calms everyone down and gringos with cash is a better deal. All three proceed to try re-obtain the cash, even snowflake grandson. Soyboy makes a move on a man in the bar for money. Everyone now make a full-circle change of mind about money; grandpaw now does not want it and now soyboy grandson wants it. All the above plays off while they refer to the absent middle character: soyboy's absent and dead dad, who has an effect on how these characters operate - "What he wants me to do." - (as life in redneck country often does). Luckily Mexicans are very okay with gringos making dramaw dramaw and this helps move the plot forward. Gringos fight in the street in public over money, as they to do. This time Jesus (not gawd) lends a helping hand. And professional killers are outwitted by this comically and dramatically unbalanced rednecks - as things tend to be. Grandpaw ends up scoring - mexican girls are practical and love gringos with money (I would have too - life can be real hard). They send soyboy back to soy city, and soyboy has a moment kissing goodbye to new grandmaw, when he wonders if he is really gay. Nope - he - that stays unchanged. And grandpaw finally admits to having a "grandchild" (not grand"son" - phew, that would have been akward). Granpaw drives off with big bag of money, in dead killers car, with red dress new granmaw, and grand"child" (not grand"son") standing in red shirt and red boots. These jolly ol' non-binary dramaws do know how to have a good ol' swaggering ending. Made me clutch my pearls.

The Morons, led by Brigham Young, traveled to Utah to settle. Eventually they outlawed polygamy when pressured by the US. Utah is still an usual place for outsiders. I was there around 2015 with my wife and sister. My sister and I enjoyed a bottle of wine at night. We went to a Walmart expecting to find wine but we were told to go to a state store to buy wine. While purchasing the wine we asked to buy a corkscrew. The state liquor store sent us back to Walmart to buy the corkscrew. Those are the hoops you have to jump through to buy a bottle of wine.

I've been to Carthage, Illinois where Joseph Smith was assassinated. The blood stains are still on the floor of the room where Joseph and his brother Hiram Smith were held. The Mormons belief in polygamy and an alternative view of Christianity didn't sit well with the people in Illinois leading to the murders and the eventual movement of most Mormons to Utah. When I was there in the 1970s only the foundation of the temple remained but I understand the temple has been rebuilt. The Mormons remaining in Navoo, Illinois are members of the reformed Church of LDS who didn't follow Brigham Young west to Utah.

Blockbuster western love story. We need more of movies for the young. The world will become a better, kinder and lovely place to live in, rather than the violence we see on screens day after day.

Complete waste of time. No beginning or ending and also missing large amounts throughout. Originally a 3+ hr. move cut to 1 hr. 12 min. Edit: Also, nothing to do with the Lone Ranger.

Awesome movie, that was one independent woman. In those olden times, western women were either married off to someone, and not by their own choice, but what their parents and relatives wanted them to marry, sold off to someone as a servant, etc., or becoming a dancehall gal and prostitution establishment. Women weren’t allowed to vote, read literature, write books, etc., and many men would consider them their property regardless if they married for love. Pioneer women had to be strong to endure the loneliness in their husbands absent if they were hunting or fighting off various enemies in a war or hostile people. In order to survive, they had to know how handle guns, chop wood, tend to crops, etc., besides other tasks if they lived on farms and ranches and doing all this raising children up. Raids on homesteaders were common among settlers living apart, with tribal peoples, bandits, and that didn’t include wild beasts nor predators which existed before settling the land, including snakes and other poisonous critters/vegetation they had to deal with, besides giving birth to children, which many died during childbirth while having babies, plus facing severe weather conditions along the way, especially in the winter time. Unless food was prepared properly during summer months and storing it in hidden underground cellars of sort, starvation was likely to occur….Calamity Jane chose a different path than becoming a total prisoner at home, she became a sharpshooter, wore men’s clothing, was an ox team driver, etc., to support her family…..it was no easy life for the frontier women….👍❤️❤️🙏🏼

If there's one thing that can trash history it's a movie about history. People doing stupid stuff so as to " create drama" this production if full of of it. More movie making than historic...
