Good afternoon. What are the differences between bottle caps? And what beverages are associated with different bottle caps?
@BrianPex17 сағат бұрын
I’ve always said Yeti was way over priced and people want them just to have a yeti. Then I got one as a gift. 28 oz with handle for coffee is amazing. Cap for right or left handed people - I didn’t know this was a thing and I’m sure other brands do this but they are so simple and work great. A weapon if you need it too. Ha

I have a question: what if we refilter water that was just filtered? Would that improve the cleanness or would the stuffs that wasn’t filtered out with the first filtering just remain unfiltered? All in all, thanks for sharing such a scientific way to compare results.

You did miss the original pop-up lid, which is by far my preference. It appears that HydroFlask quit making them, but there are several aftermarket ones available on Amazon, etc..

I love my Owala bottle. :) For me, the built-in straw is definitely the killer feature. I've used a lot of water bottles with built-in straws, and I have always had to suck at them harder than is comfortable. Owala's straw mechanism is perfect. I do find the handle mechanism a bit uncomfortable to carry, but it does seal firmly.

My niece got me one for Christmas. I’ve been a Camelbak user for many years. As I’m not in favor of Straw style bottles. Never heard of this brand before. Was curious about how popular these bottles were.

Its the strongest waterbottle in the world, over engineered. But just tighten it gently or it will break. I think ill give the mag dock a try instead. Hopefully it can handle hot liquids too. 🙄🙄 big eyeroll @yeti. According to naysayers I am stronger then a bear.

Im highly dissapointed in the quality of yeti lids. They are a brand that claims to be the toughest and thats why it supposed to be worth the rediculous prices. They obviously intend to have their lids to strip, leak or break so you gotta buy their overpriced replacements. I feel like an idiot now for buying their highly priced junk.

I created a chug top insert that is 3d printable (press fit) - looks like a grid and is used to prevent ice from striking you in the teeth when drinking.

I've seen that FJ also has a button lid option and I've heard that one has a larger spout and a little hole for air which this model you showcased seems to lack. Have you got any experience with the other FJ model? Im kinda torn between the two.

I’d rather have the threads be stainless encapsulated in plastic for insulation from heat to prevent burns.

Is it me or does it seem like Yeti missed the mark on all the lids? No easy drink spout with a tethered cap…? When I did a canyon hiking tour out west, I found that my plastic Nalgene bottle got warm and gross tasting in the heat of the day. So, I bought a generic stainless insulated bottle in one of the gift shops. I’d fill it with ice and water and have cold refreshing water throughout my hike without the plastic taste. However, all it had was a generic wide-mouth twist cap with a tether. It worked well and it was impossible to lose the cap, but I found I was sometimes “drowning” myself when the ice would stick together and then suddenly break free. Unable to find a chug lid style that would fit it, I looked to Yet for an improvement. So, I bought the 36 0z rambler with the chug lid. The 36 oz fits in my Osprey Nebula day pack and other hiking packs water bottle side pockets. The only thing I wish it had was a rope tether, like the Nalgene uninsulated bottle, to keep you from losing the lid with the handle. This would make it perfect. I’ll have to build my own rope tether. I think the orange thin line from a roll of mason line will be sturdy but thin enough to fit between the lid and bottle without compromising the seal. a.co/d/g7ZyVOr I’m also surprised Yeti does not make hydration drinking tubes for their bottles. They are missing out big on profits in that category.

is it possible or normal the lid have some condensation, put it on my bag, and the lid sweating so much, 😅. my environment hot and humid. my bag is black and exposed directly to the sun
@Jose0453722 күн бұрын
I'm more of a "screw lid" guy. Because pop opening lids tend to brake (because the spring mechanism brakes, or the lid doesn't close anymore).
@chefgav122 күн бұрын
Pointless comparisons. You are comparing water filters and water purifier in the same test. Totally different. You keep calling the Grayl a water filter which it is not. To be fair you should do a bit more research and do the video again as there are so many mistakes it’s embarrassing
@Jose0453722 күн бұрын
I recommend yeti for it's sturdiness. Just change the cap for a more practical off brand chug lid, that's what I did.

I found out drinking out of stainless steel was causing me chronic pain . I did a metal test and found out I was allergic to nickel which is in stainless . If you have pain you might want to switch to glass.
@bottlepro325223 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear that. Yea, I've heard from a few people with that same allergy. It's something I honestly wasn't aware was a thing until recently. With my other company (Momnt Mugs), we're looking to make a stainless steel insulated version and someone mentioned they have the same allergy.

Water already has hydrogen in it. H2O, that H is hydrogen. Also water naturally has some hydrogen and hydroxide ions floating around. Echo Go's claims are BS.
