It's going to be a fabulous New Year soon for 2025, and I'm going to overhaul my collection & get things as I can afford it, that I love 🥰 A fresh start is so nice to reset I feel, and I know getting through the past couple of tough years, next year is going to be a lot better. Soooo...a bit of my fragrance history first for context... I wore my signature scent--now long discontinued--from the moment it was released in 1981 until November 2023 when my daughter encouraged me to save my little stash of it and expand my perfume collection. It's been a year and I have over 100 fragrances in my collection now. There only a few I cannot abide (although I keep trying them occasionally to see if the colder weather helps or if they've blended better now that they've mixed with oxygen in the bottle. For certain, I've been able to reinforce what notes I loved in that original signature scent, and truly, I'm still drawn to the same sort of notes. I've decided to be more discriminating as I add fragrances to my collection, and there's some I won't replace as I use them up...but I like them enough to wear in the proper season. I have my sights on also adding some Chanel fragrances to my collection...which has come a LONG way round because there was a time I could not abide the aldehydic overdose in Chanel No 5. I already have Coco EDT and Coco Noir and a smaller decant of Eau Premiere. I want to try Coromandel and Comete before I splurge on an entire pricy bottle, but I plan to order a bottle of Chanel No 5 and Coco Mademoiselle and Coco Mademoiselle Intense before the year is out. My absolute LOVE--as much as I loved my original signature scent--is YSL's Babycat. I just bought my 2nd bottle (because I found it at a FABULOUS price, and bought my daughter a bottle for Christmas, as well), and I've got my eyes on a place that sells decants of authentic Dior, Chanel, etc fragrances that is trustworthy. I'm looking at the fragrance notes to determine which ones to order and which ones I already know I won't care for. Then...I kind of took a twist-about and have begun adding older fragrances to my collection that I missed because I was focused on that original signature scent...and have turned part fragrance detective and part bloodhound in tracking some that are discontinued. One example is Miss Dior 2017, but it was discontinued in 2021 in favor of a new blend of notes. I didn't even find out about it until early 2024. My favorite flavor of gelato is blood orange, which is one of the top notes in Miss Dior 2017 so I knew I would love it IF I could get my hands on some. I ordered a 30 ml bottle to test my detective skills--they are excellent, may I say--and then ordered a 150 ml bottle. That's enough for the time being, but I may order some for my daughter and granddaughter. It's been a fun and interesting journey...but yes, I'm no longer interested in "meh" perfumes. From this point on, I only want to add fragrances I adore!!!

Hi Sally!💛 It’s always such a pleasure seeing you!💛I look forward to your videos. Funny thing… I recently found a tester bottle of Armani Sí Fiore. It had a cap! I’ve wanted it for a long time. And, as an added bonus, the seller wasn’t charging a ridiculous price for it. I do like sweeter scents, so I’m very happy. 😊 I do like NR Musc Noir Rose. I don’t wear it often, but enjoy it when I do. I have several Chanel fragrances. Coco Mad Intense, Gabrielle Essence, and Allure. But my absolute favorite, never want to be without it, is Coco EDP. It’s beautiful! The only Mon Guerlain I have is Intense. I don’t need to look any further. 😊 I’ve decluttered all my Kayali fragrances. There’s an unidentifiable synthetic note in most of them that I don’t like. It’s all I can smell. Altogether I have decluttered 65 bottles. Most have already sold. I’m much happier without them. 😂 Thank you for sharing your thoughts on these fragrances. Have a wonderful holiday season!🎄🎄

I too prefer the EDT over the EDP version. I like the brightness of the edt to the softness of the EDP. The EDP for some reason gives me vibes of being outdoors in a foresty meadow with lots of greenery on a humid summers day. There’s something very green and balmy about it. It is pretty and soft but just something about it I’m not keen on. I have a bottle and think I will put it up on my Mercari.

I agree with you on Chanel, I haven't found a perfume from them that I have enjoyed yet. I really like Rouge Malachite though, I hope now you enjoy the note of tuberose you get on better with it - I think you have to really like that note to appreciate Rouge Malachite haha

I love sleeping with the EDP as well. I have tried a lot of perfumes but this one is just amazing to me. It just hits right. I always go back to it.

Ironically, real 18-24k gold is incredibly lightweight too. And very soft and malleable.

It’s so interesting to me that you’re getting rid of these, because I remember (quite awhile back) you talking about how much you loved all of these. Im guessing you’re like me and you get tired of perfumes after awhile. I tend to do this with most perfumes. I wear them a lot and then eventually the newness and love wears off. I hate that it happens. But I have to accept it. And I rarely buy bottles of perfume for this reason. I stick with travel spray and decants. Thank you for sharing! I feel the same about the l’interdit EDP, it is very strong on the orange blossom. Ever since I got the intense I never used the OG. I recommend the intense to you too it is a beautifully balanced creamy interpretation of the scent. Oh and the rouge one is divine too but that is more spicy woody with no orange blossom at all☺️

I love Mmm... & Lipstick Fever I have both, but I just find them not long lasting for being a niche brand, unfortunately many from this brand are like that. Def keep the JPG fragrance!

I couldn’t part with Mmmm or L’Interdit - I love them and they smell great on me. I’m ready to let go of Prada Paradoxe , JPG and a few others. They’re pretty, just not for me. I went a little overboard with both niche and designer fragrance - too much for one person. (It’s still difficult to declutter them.) I won’t buy anything I don’t love anymore - and no more blind buys.

I’m also thinking about decluttering L’interdit. I love this perfume but I always reach for the Rouge (2021) flanker. I don’t think I need both but it also has a sentimental meaning for me as it was one of the first perfume I bought when my fragrance addiction started to be intense! 😅😂

I love JHAG Mmmm. I think it’s best when it’s really cold out. I find it cozy and comforting.

My heart hurt when I saw you declutter L’Interdit as it’s one of my favorite perfumes and lines but I do understand how it can be polarizing. It can be a little scratchy with the vetiver. The Rouge and Ultime versions seem to be an easier wear. I kind of feel the same about JHAG Mmmm. It’s unique and I like it but hardly wear it. For me I find I can only tolerate this in cold weather and I live in a climate that’s warm year round. I also find if I spray it under my clothes it works best. It’s kind of a beast. Lol

I absolutely cannot abide the scent of lavender on my body. I have tried, and any fragrance with lavender is a scrubber. Mon Guerlain is a big "no" for me. On the other hand, I LOVE Nebras!!! PS...I know you are not from France, but L'Interdit is correctly pronounced "lon-ter-dee". As well, Nebras is not pronounced with a long "e". It's "neh-bras".

You're back! What a lovely surprise. All of the Mon Guerlains are my favorites, and if I could only keep three perfumes, they'd probably all be those.

I love Mon Guerlain Intense. One of my all time favorites. There’s just something about it thats so classic and modern and makes me feel like it could be my signature scent, if I had one. Lol. So I totally get why you love it. I’ve been wearing a lot of different perfumes. But some mainstays for winter for me are Musc Ravageur, Guerlains Cuir Beliga, Spirituesse Double Vanille, and (recently discontinued) Tonka Imperiale, Tom Fords Noir pour Femme, Maison Margielas Coffee Break and Whispers by the Library, Alien Essence Absolue (also discontinued), Xerjoffs Naxos, Diors Feve Deliceuse, Grand Soir by MFK, Boucherons Ambre D’alexandrie and also Guerlains Shalimar Tonka (which I’m still obsessed with). Newer winter faves are Vanilla Barka by Amouage, PDMs Althair, Encens Suave by Matiere Premiere, Black Opium Le Parfum, Angel Le Gout du Parfum (also known as a Taste of Fragrance, and unfortunately discontinued, which kills me as its incredible!!) Bianco Latte by Giardini de Toscano and Guerlains new Feve Gourmand (replacement of Gourmand Coquin. ) (Btw I do have decants of Guerlains extrait replacements for Tonka Imperiale and SDV, and they’re really nice and very strong. But they don’t smell exactly the same. I got a decant of one of the other new extraits called Iris Pallida and it’s really nice too. Assuming you like Iris or powdery scents. ) I really want to try the new extrait version of Encens Suave, and also that brands Vanilla Powder. Oh and I still haven’t tried Babycat!! Lol. Anyway I have to HIGHLY recommend Althair and Vanilla Barka. Those are my top 2 new faves from last year. (Subtly spicy musky woody vanilla and soft powdery incense vanilla) I think you’d really like them. 😊

Mon Guerlain Intense is sooo gorgeous. I have back-up bottles of that one. It’s breathtakingly beautiful, comforting, and sensual. It truly is a masterpiece of a fragrance in my opinion. 🩷🩷🩷

I cant even pon point why I like it so much, but i can tell you, just like Mon Guerlain, the Poison Girl edt is so easy to wear(id like to try the EDP, but i meed to order a sample).
