Man, I will tell you! The SRM 225 is very underrated. It is a residential/commercial/whatever you need it for! Always starts easy! Best trimmer on the market for not paying more than $230 on average. Thank you for the video. I may have to get me some of those renegade blades. I bought the universal kit that you showed in the video, but I am not a huge fan of the large tooth blade that comes with it. I want something that has smaller close together sharp blade teeth that just slices through wood like you were showing.

%100 right, there's mowers that cost a little more with better features, mowers i was considering, but the value of this mower brings me back to it, this video helped confirm my decision for the xd, thanks

Beautiful trees. Too bad they weren't able to plant them elsewhere on their property. There are smaller arborvitaes that are better suited for near the home. Not sure if I would ever plant them that close to my house or fence though (even the ones that are smaller and only grow 12 feet high and 3 foot wide).

I have a 2021 Raptor XL and a 2021 XD. I have put 1,000 hours on the XL! yes 1,000 hours on the XL. the right side transmission started getting weak at 900 so I had it replaced $925 for parts and labor. I paid $3,699 for the XL and $4,299 for the XD in 2021! These mowers are AWESOME!!!

It's nice for it to look neat and tidy, but plants are good things! Stones should be accents, not filling up a whole bed's worth of space. I don't mean to demean your work, of course, just the way you talk about the plants like they're inherently ugly.
@troxelservicesАй бұрын
If the homeowner has time to manage bushes, flowerbeds and plants then I agree. But there is something to be said for those that prefer to have nice looking flowerbeds with low maintenance/time commitments all year long. Put the flowers in nice containers to create low maintenance color and creativity to your beds. If you drive around the average neighborhood, half of the flowerbeds are not being maintained or taken care of. Its partly because we are not simplifying the flowerbeds to begin with to make them sustainable for some people's schedules.

I have an Echo PAS-225. My brushcutter attachment came with a blade with a lot of teeth. It cuts saplings and small reeds, but it didn't cut the thick weeds enough. I have been looking around and I keep coming back to the Echo 3-Tooth Grass & Weed Blade. The only thing that I don't like about it is the price of $31. I wasn't sure if I should do the three tooth or try out the blade you are showcasing.

Personally, since nobody asked I'd put a membrane under the rocks. Of course that can be omitted if the soil is already heavy clay soil. The larger rocks also serve well as cobblestone, long before the square granite blocks came to be, the widest part pointing up for foot-travel and the thin end up for wagon travel.
@troxelservices2 ай бұрын
SOIL is heavy clay here to your point.

Who would’ve thought a thin metal band that breaks when hit with a hammer would snap under 3000lb loads haha I wouldn’t have thought that beforehand! Seems kind of obvious after the fact
@troxelservices2 ай бұрын
The reason it snapped was mainly because there was a metal lip on the dump trailer and the band hit it a certain way when it came off. I agree in hindsight that it seems logical it would break regardless, but bundles have been dumped like that and stayed in tact so it caught me off guard.

Why does everyone feel the need to pour tons of concrete into post holes when backfilling with a clean pea gravel is enough. Pea gravel is self compacting and I not only cheaper is strong enough. And self draining.
@troxelservices3 ай бұрын
I have not had the best experience with pea gravel on a horse fence we had installed using that method about 7 years ago. All of the post are fairly loose at this point. Have you had good experience that has lasted for many years after install.
@denjhill3 ай бұрын
@@troxelservices Yes. A fence is an unfair comparison because it contains no cross and lateral bracing which eliminates wobbling. I currently have a 24 x 36 shop with 12 foot ceiling and a concrete floor which wraps the posts. No problems after 6 years and I don't expect any anytime soon.
