I get to go about twice a month on Falls, and am new to the region. Normally it’s a new lake every time I go, and I’ve only stayed on fish in May during the late spawn. Can you explain how you’d use a 4 hour fishing day to catch as many fish as possible out on Falls? Good video. Everything you said was spot on. I'll add that back when I was in my 20's I fished my first local bass club. We had about 20 teams. There was this one guy who was in his late 50's and he won almost every tournament we had. This was a team club so he had 2 or 3 different partners during those years we all fished that club. This guys name was Jim. He was one of 3 people that were the original owners of Bandit crankbaits when they made them crankbaits back in 70's by hand... As time went on I got to know Jim and became neighbors. So one day I asked him how he became so good at fishing bass tournaments. He said come by the house later that evening and he would tell the answer. Man I could not wait to see him and chat and find out what special bait or pattern won him all those tournaments. So I got there at his house and walked in and sat down and we chatted awhile and I said Okay Jim what's the answer. He said there's 2 things you need to do. So me sitting on the edge of my seat I could not wait. Jim said 1st is learn the 4 seasons of bass. What they should be doing in any of the 4 seasons. Bass usually follow the same patterns each and every year. 2nd, Jim said start taking notes and put then in a journal of every trip you go bass fishing and write every thing. Wind, temp, bass caught lures used everything big or small write it that journal and do it every year. Go back to those journal in the future and may help to remember places and what you used on a particular lake at around the same time. So I have keeping journals going back to 2002 and every year till now. And I have them on all the lakes around me. Murray and Hartwell and Clarkhill and all the lakes. 7 lakes total. It works all these lakes after awhile trying to remember every little thing on each lakes get harder to do over all these years.... My trophies and plaques on the wall prove it.... Hope this helps you or someone. It did me....

@ I have no affiliation with Black Label but he makes awesome Alda baits and his soft plastics are good too! 👍🏻👍🏻

Great video. My most productive bait was Ramsey baits 5" stick worms in various colors.

@@MichaelKnapp-ei9nh Man the stick worm has pretty much stood the test of time. Sure it’s something I need to throw more than I do. Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!👊🏼🔥

Good video. Catching fish that day look good. I did get to go last Saturday. Caught 5 51ft deep on a jigging spoon. Hey have a Merry Christmas and hope you get those fishing goodies....

@@bigmikefishingchonicles9950 They do allow co anglers in the American fishing tour tournaments but not many show up anymore.

@ there are a few that show up still . I usually get a co angler I would say once or twice a year. I think because of Kayak fishing and FFS the co anglers seem to be going away. I saw the Bassmaster Opens aren’t having co anglers this year. Only thing left is BFLs. Fishing is changing like everything else it seems Mike.
