Wow you’ve got some great airport walk-thrus posted!. I run the online airport guide iFly since 2005 and we would love to add your airport walk-thrus (ie SLC, LGB, BOS, ++). Pls go to our support page and mention 'airport walk thru' and I’ll give you the details. Tony (PS: NOT spam, this is 100% legit and no cost). Thx!

I've been through there. The connection between Terminals A and B is a long walk, even with the moving walkways. I hope there is plans to implement a people mover, similar to that at Denver Int'l and Dulles.

Interesting history on Terminal B, at Gate B32, there's an American Flag flying over it. That's the gate American Airlines Flight 11 departed from on 9/11/2001. Same with Terminal C, Gate C19. C19 is where United Airlines Flight 175 departed from. Both U.S Flags honor the passengers and crew of Flight 11 and Flight 175.

All the buildings in your video probably have a story to tell, and I know the story of one of them. The building on the right at 7:00, with the cream-colored terracotta facade is now owned by the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo but was originally the headquarters of the long-gone Courier Express newspaper. Attached to it is a two-story addition added in the late '60s. The architects of that addition were Buffalo firm Pfohl Roberts Biggie. As an intern architect at PRB that summer I worked on the drawings of that little addition. We had the original drawings of the existing CE building on actual white-on-blue blueprints. They stood out because they were drawn in 1/3 scale! After 40 years as an architect, it was the one and only time I have ever seen that scale used on a drawing. It just is never used. It doesn't even appear on an architect's scale. I wonder how they built it.

Thank you SO MUCH! im going to be here in june and waiting for some time for my flight as im going to get there early (i am a paranoid flyer, i get to airports hours before my flight, you know, for the just in case issues, traffic, god forbid road accidents, issues checking out hotels and so on) every other videos i saw was just walking and not stopping to show the shops or restaurants. now i know what to expect. i kept an eye out if the stores had cheetos lol. i want to stuff as many as a i can into my carry on, i love cheetos. i even managed to spot sunkist you were going so slow for me, so i appreciate that! i got hooked on that when i was in new york years ago but you can't get it in ireland

I did that very thing for several years in Colorado. Loading bags the handle is placed toward the aircraft so the guy in the pit stacking bags can grab them easily off the belt. Unloading the handle side is placed down so the rampie on the ground can grab them easily and load em' into the cart. Would also marshall the a/c into and out of the gate and drive the pushback tug. I was also in charge of maintaining the belt loaders and baggage and pushback tugs.

Bags have reinforcing on the back side to protect the contents so why do handlers always thrown them on the soft front?

You expect them to lift the bags that are heavy as shit and put them softly? And do it lile 20x+ again and again?
@johnmalloy101 Жыл бұрын
The bags are stacked inside the plane, and it helps to have a flat surface (the back) facing up.

@@CandidExploration It's really not that crowded as it used to be because the two main former flagship stores (macey's & Dillards) closed. The only anchors are AMC Theater and H&M - both haven't the staying "power" that the former stores had. What the "Shops at the Rivercenter" needs are high-end anchor stores that will attract not only tourist but affluent residents in Alamo Heights/Terrell Hills as the Quarry is not actually a mall of sorts and has no anchor stores.
