Hi I was hoping you'd be able to answer a couple of questions for me regarding this UTS from APC as I'm seriously considering buying one. 1. Can Adaptive Load Management (ALM), Load Shedding, Time Management, Delayable Circuit be used for the UPS input? All references to these in manual seem to refer to the generator input. 2. It appears the UPS input is limited to a max of 1800W by the firmware - is this correct and if so, is there a firmware update that increases this limit? I was planning on using a modern UPS that handles greater wattage such as the EcoFlow Delta 1300 and it seems like this unit cannot handle the newer strength UPS' (and I understand this UTS is 10+ yrs old). 3. Do you know of any other similar/equivalent type device for home use? I have not been able to find anything that's not big $$ as it's designed for commercial use. Thx in advance.

I agree with the cooling savings but the cooling units will be taking valuable foot print space as they need to be mounted with in equipment rows vs. using end of the row and unusable aisle space.

The LCD screens are a HUGE improvement. Why APC insisted on putting the serial number on the back of these units in something like a 9-point font is mind boggling to me. It was such a hassle to have to crawl under a desk or behind a server rack just to get a model number or serial number off one of these units.

Brings back wonderful memories of my days working in a tape pool and the tape library. We worked hard (12 hours days on our feet) but we had a lot of laughs. the mainframe is gone and the IBM 3580 doesn't require us to unload/load tapes every other day. It was good times.

hehehe apc produce all battery commercial for servers of business and gouvernement its happen that sometime the electricity is shout down so the apc battery take the charge so all server continue running without closing
