APC launches new Smart UPS line with LCD display & Green Mode

APC revolutionalized the UPS world when it first introduced Smart UPS nearly two decades ago. More than 20 million units have already been sold in network closets and server rooms.

The LCD screens are a HUGE improvement. Why APC insisted on putting the serial number on the back of these units in something like a 9-point font is mind boggling to me. It was such a hassle to have to crawl under a desk or behind a server rack just to get a model number or serial number off one of these units.
