Yeah…back when women were openly s*xually harassed and assaulted at work by their male bosses and coworkers were some great times! Even better was that if they spoke up about the abuse, THEY would be the ones fired and not the actual perpetrators! You find that “refreshing”? You think that’s “not giving a hoot about political correctness”? No. That’s a crime and women were just expected to deal with it, like it was a normal part of life…because it often was seen as “normal.” There’s a reason these older women are finally speaking out about what rich and powerful men did to them in private and in the workplace years ago. Since the misogynistic attitude of America has (somewhat) changed, they finally felt safe to come forward and say what these men did to them. How old are you? If you are over 40 you should personally know at least one woman who had to deal with men like that in the workplace. Never mind out in the rest of the world, because that’s a whole other issue. I’m just talking about the workplace. This does still happen today, but it’s thankfully not as rampant. It’s f*ked up that “not as rampant” is a win for women being s*xually harassed and assaulted at work, but that’s unfortunately the world we live in.
