Love the vid my build is different due to circumstances I run - iceheart helm and shoulders medium - frostbite chest, boots, waist, ring, necklace and masters ice staff - ice conjuror back bar arms, ring, legs and ice staff Still trying to get the helmet Nunatak to drop but nothing yet have the shoulders tho. Running breton for more sustain with witchmothers potent brew for that extra health. - Potion I use spellpower for mag sustain and crit increase Front bar - Bird of prey, chilling contingency exactly the way you have yours, deep fissure for minor and major breach, destructive touch, and chilling explosion exactly the same for damage and some more sustain. - Backbar blue betty, ice fortress, artic blast getting nerfed in pts 43 still salty about it due to pvp usage smh, growing swarm for some sustain, and unstable wall of elements. Do you plan on swapping any skills once pts 43 happens saw another youtuber talk about some scribing skills are getting the frost damage added.

If you use the Velothi Ur-Mage mythic, Shield Charge goes dead, but Power Bash is fine.

Huh. I wonder if I could make that with an Oakensoul + tripots on my khajiit. Chalks could be replaced with Contigency (it can have vulnerability instead of minor force). Chilling Explosion can have magicka lifesteal if recovery really is an issue, otherwise off-balance.

Can't wait to try this out on the PTS. My current frost warden with similar gear is hitting barely 90k, and I think those new two skills are just what it needs. Timing the two 6 second duration skills together seems like an easy rotation. The two second channel has me a little concerned though. For sacrificing two global cooldowns and missing out on 1 light attack to only deal 22k damage is a huge letdown. Yeah you can apply the minor magickasteal, but that is likely going to be redundant in most groups. If your standard spammable is frost clench with 9k damage + 3k chilled proc being guaranteed, you are basically better off casting that twice (and getting your second 2k light attack in). If you are needing to do AoE, absolutely go for this cast, but for single target boss damage I would drop that channeled ability entirely. Its animation is sick though. Just wish it had better utility. If you made it with Major Savagry and dropped Betty for something else, it would be a very nice skill to use. Unfortunately, by buffing Betty Zos kinda screwed over that idea. Now Betty will NEED to be slotted similar to Templars running Solar Barrage.

Dope video. I’m fairly new to the game and once I figured out how everything worked I rolled a warden ice mage. It’s my first real build in this game and I use ice furnace and frostbite with the heavy armor pieces on the body. My playstyle is drop all the ice effects and fetcher swarm and then a lot of heavy attacking fit the shield. I have sword and shield on the back bar for extra defense of I need it. Right now I am just soloing world bosses so my build motivations are a little different. I really want nunatek but that zone confuses the hell out of me.

Having a new skill which is chilling explosions, it nice, it make better than some of the area ice ability so this is nice for my one bar. What good is has a big meter and radius which i wish all skills have that too and I take anything over using wall of elements because it do suck especially when it don't apply breach instant

I really enjoy ice dps. I like to be able to 'feel' the frosty damage, while not having my rp-ness negatively impact my group. Tvm for the build :)

Excellent video. You might want to swap Knight Slayer for Noble Duellist. It scales up fantastically well against higher health mobs, which is where you need it. 8K oblivion damage every heavy attack on boss fights is way better than anything else.

take off frenzy and change cauterize to the healing morph. 400 extra spell dmg is nice, but not when it takes 2 abilities. Also you should make a build that just prioritizes weapon/spell dmg instead of getting as much as humanly possible Like maybe add in 2 rules. 1. you need to reach pen cap for whatever content you're building for 2. You need to reach ~50% crit chance

If you go vampire lord ult that'll give you about 1k wpn/spell dmg due to giving you 10k magicka, plus it'll add a nice aoe and heal you. Very nice. You'll have it about 1/3 of the time without building into it and about 1/2 of the time if you do

Good vid. Fun but underwhelming set. Tried it with similar-ish build and got 65k, which I hope to improve soon. Can’t rly see myself using it for anything beyond PUG dungeons. Hope Zenimax give most the class sets some small buffs in the future - set has potential

Was running both as a DK (Leeching + Combustion passive 😌) & my friend was laughing his @$$ off because i went afk for a few minutes and my character was being sustained by both sets while being world war Z consumed by mobs. Love that combo but i like Leech better.

Sir, thank you very much for this build. I have built this few weeks ago and gone to IC. I can even kill IC sewer bosses with this and I pvped a DK. Normally, I am bad at pvp but I dueled this DK for 5 mins but when he exhausted his resources between rotations, I stunned and nuked him. It was very satisfying and I could easily hold my ground with arcanist's insane self buffs. My only regret is my char is a Breton. I wish I had created this as a nord :))

My Mag-Plar breezes through EA as a 1-bar w/ Deadly + Order's Wrath, 1 piece Slimecraw.... 52% crit... and I don't even slot a heal. During my running it, I have accumulated Wrathsun pieces, but reading the comments and your responses... um... seems like an almost worthwhile set... close but no cigar. I do enjoy the Sorc set, and replaced my 1-bar Sargeant's/Noble Duelist with Monument of Storms and (hmm, I may have kept Sergeants... just can't remember, atm)... it's really fun, and quite effective. Bash shouldn’t be a thing. Tanks shouldn’t be able to go in bgs and 3 shot dps. This game has no concept of the word tank.

this is so useless for trial group it's just unbelievable, jorvuld+Roaring oportunist aka RoJo, or SPC with pillages profit, sob/ozz or naz on monster depending on situation, healers with builds like yours can be sure to get kicked form group
