Hi, I would like to know how to communicate to a parent page from a region.

I don't think this video is appropriate for someone beginning there journey in ADF and using task flows. Someone beginning the journey would surely not use java classes at Entity Level to pass pass parameters. Even the Oracle Documentation does not recommend this. So it confuses newbies. This instructional video is more for an intermediate to advanced user. Another video should be created to show the basic workings of task flows especially around exceptions, routers, etc.

Hi, i tried deleting using the above java code , it works fine when my tree size is small or there is no scroll in tree...But when i have larger trees or scroll down in the tree and pick any node from the bottom and process deletion . when processing i am getting null node binding. Any idea on how to fix that in larger trees?

How were you able to make the validation for the undo button. I tried checking the value of pageScope.MyManagedBean.savePointId but it doesn't work. It always returns null even though the undo funcionality is working correctly.

It can be seen that you're very good at ADF but if you let me make a suggestion, I think that you explain a lot and that is not bad, but some of us are still beginners and need to get acquainted to the framework for our jobs therefore we're watching advanced topics like this one because we have to move quickly across the different parts of the framework, so in some parts we don't know what you're talking about, but maybe if you actually explain it with an example would be a lot better because there are parts of the video where we are really interested in following the sample application and suddenly you come up with some fragments of code or pages that you already made.

Once that we made the pop up work the Cancel button does the same as the Submit button and also, the Commit button is not working anymore, what can we do to solve that?
