@@SignorZukini thanks for watching. I think it’s adequate. I’ve used it forever on automobiles but steel is a different animal than aluminum. It seems to be very scruffy easily scratched. It’s adequate on mating surfaces to cut down on corrosion. That said anywhere I’m going to paint or touch is going to be epoxy primer. I hope this helps you make a decision to do this someday it is the best time I’ve ever had building something.

As long as you keep the tires out of sunlight and crease them by stacking something on them they will last forever. Sunlight is the biggest killer. odds are you could order new tires and they very likely could be older than the ones u have now. Those tires really aren't that common. The tire manufacturers will make a certain number of them once every so often and not make any more for years. And also, probably 50% of all the kits sold go with different tires anyway. We are so fortunate to have a kit like Zenith. if you only knew how most kits were just 10 years ago you'd have no complaints at all. They were a crate of flat aluminum pieces that had to have every hole drilled and every rib formed by hand. Many kits are still that way. About the only part pre-made was the wing spar. The early Van's kits looked like a pile of scrap aluminum with a set of plans. Very crude by todays kit standards. Anyway thanks for sharing and good luck and remember, when you get frustrated, just be glad you have a Zenith kit. They are the most complete kit on the market and have the least amount of problems in manufacturing by far.

@Youtuber-ku4nk6 ай бұрын
@@DennisZylstra It's only the faster reflectors that need an offset, because the beam of light from the primary to the secondary on a faster scope is wider in comparission to the distance between the two. I guess for f5 or faster. The reason for the need of an offset is that the beam of light, at the point of the secondary, that is closer to the primary, is so wide at this point that it needs to reach further out to "catch" the beam.
