People say it is bad because it does not feel like a Dragon Age game. It is perfectly fine as a video game; sure, lots of quests, takes a long time to complete. But it is horrible for a Dragon Age game. Veilguard keeps throwing quests at you; it is like a never-ending barrage of quests every time you go back to the Lighthouse. But VERY little substance. So quantity without quality. Dragon Age used to be known for both. Not any more.

@@Psyche0delic I really don't know where you're getting a lack of substance from, I found the majority of the character's journeys interesting and compelling especially Emmrich. I found the ending satisfying, and extremely emotional. I also don't understand not wanting a lot of quests, what is it that you'd rather be doing then?

Dude this started my Durgetash fantasies but i gotta know because it's been killing me... How did you replace Orin at the Bhaal Temple?? I've tried multitooling ring of metamorph but broke my brain, CE, and script extender and i can't get it to work ahhh (she nakey or in undergarments)

@@ketziamcmurter7860 ahh thank you so much, it’s an absolute honor! orin is a very tricky swap to do, I had to go in and reprogram the coding for her entire model and change all of her values and ID’s to that of my character and the gear I wanted, it’s a real headache!

@ the hardest part is getting all the individual codes for your tav, and it gets even more complex if your tav is using modded assets 🥲 the tutorial on ring of metamorph shows how to find your tav’s values, it’s a good place to begin!

I think Emmrich is such a sweetheart and a total badass, but man, is he going to have such a hard time when Rook eventually dies from old age

@@Kelsey-w4x if we take context clues into consideration, this scene happens after rook finally escapes from the fade which they were trapped in for weeks according to Bellara, and Emmrich says he was scared he had lost Rook forever. Right as it fades to black here, he says he is never going to let himself and Rook be parted again in this OR any other world. I think this indicates that after experiencing what it feels like to lose Rook, he is going to use his Lich powers to never let Rook die, even if it means breaking rules. It’s terribly romantic to me! Maybe a mourn watch Rook could even dedicate the next several decades to learning to become a Lich too, who knows!

@ I think the ghost or what is is looked different than Gale, as I am not on a dark urge run. But the dialog options where the same, so I did manage to join the cult by saying I killed someone and then chopped their hand off.

I personally talked him out of Lichdom, because I think he gets too attached to the living and would be sad for eternity. BUT His Lich romance has strong asexuality vibes, which I absolutely adore. Us Aces are so underrepresented, it's great to have a "I'd like to hold you" option in a game like this 💜

@@RedDeadSakharine one thing that really intrigued me and made his lich romance grow on me was, (SPOILER for end game coming!) after Rook gets lost in the fade during the final fight, which is apparently for actual weeks according to bellara, Lich Emmrich says during his final romance scene that he won’t let himself and rook be parted in this or any other world again. (It’s in this video.) this signifies to me that after thinking he lost Rook forever and feeling that heartbreak and fear, he is going to do everything in his new Lich power to never let Rook die, even if it breaks rules. Very intriguing to me! I feel like a necromancer Rook could even learn to become a Lich themselves. It’s all very romantic to me!!
