Also that run by mcglynn after he passes the ball is amazing to draw the one defender away from uhre and create a little confusion.

Starting to consistently see these great passes by DJJ. His ligue 1 experience is showing. Really excited to continue seeing him and also excited to see if/when he plays in his more natural position at the 8 and what he can do there.

I was super impressed by DJJ this match, watching him open up so many opportunities is exactly the type of midfielder we need.

Danley was FANTASIC! I put out a highlight video on Twitter and Instagram of all his key plays if you want to check it out. Would've added to the goals breakdown video, but didn't want to make it longer then what it already is.

Couldn't tune in live, but giving it a listen now. Sad we have no CCC next season but those penalties were terrible.
@Wolfy77616 күн бұрын
Even though we won Saturday... Union didn't have the best game, so i was a bit concerned going into the Weds game. Especially without Baribo and having to adjust without Martinez. I would also love to see more Adeniran, but I think he wasn't synergizing with his teamates. Danley for only being out 20 or so minutes I felt looked the most promising.

I personally think it's fatigue. Lot's of silly mistakes because the defenders never get a rest, and that's because Jim doesn't trust the bench options. Which falls on Ernst for the way he's constructed this roster...

So difficult! The Gazdag miss from the second penalty was such a huge blow, but they still had a chance to score with the last kick of the game with Harriel’s header off the corner kick. Shouldn’t have been a game they lost.

Daniel Gazdag is 20 out of 20 when he doesn’t slip. When it’s in his control he’s 100%. I haven’t been happy with him this year, but that fact is undeniable.

A lot of fans have been saying the same thing. There's been multiple games this year where you honestly forget he's on the field. The seasons still young, so hopefully this isn't how his season goes. Thanks for watching!

For the Unions third goal, it was called a penalty because the contact, Martins arm on Carranza was deemed to be directly over the line. The red card wasn't given because Carranza had a heavy touch on the ball right before he went down. Had he stayed on his feet, he probably would not be in a great position to shoot. Love the vids keep up the good work

Thank's for checking out the videos and the podcast, William! Thanks for also bringing the audio level to my attention as I haven't had anyone complain about that before. About how long have you been noticing that? I switched to a different audio processing software a month or so ago, and all the audio levels have been reading fine, maybe the audio is getting over-processed? I'll change some settings for this week's episode. Mind keeping me updated if it's still too low for you?

Collide inside of the penalty box is very generous. From what I understand Rivas initially called it a PK not a free kick at least according to Instant Replay, was then called to VAR to potentially correct, but he confirmed his decision. Had it been given as a free kick in the first place I doubt it gets overturned to a PK as the attacker barely had a dangling foot on the edge of the box. But I don't necessarily feel hard done by the decision.
@FreeKickPod Жыл бұрын
Being in the stadium, Rivas initially pointed for a free kick just outside the box. Then VAR got into his ear to have a look for a potential penalty. And for what it's worth, Jim Curtin admitted that it was a penalty and that Damion Lowe knew it too.
@DanRobotMan Жыл бұрын
@@FreeKickPod I'm saying it could have easily gone either way, it was that close. Not mad about it, cause of that fact, inches inside the 18. Just surprised if it was called a FK that he changed his mind to PK. Didn't seem that obvious on replay.
@FreeKickPod Жыл бұрын
Agree that it could've gone either way. I was shocked when I saw they were going to VAR because watching it live and then on the reply, it didn't look like a penalty, looked outside the box. But after seeing the angle where they showed Rubio's right foot in the box, they got it right.
@bradfehr838 Жыл бұрын
Of course we’ll take the penalty when it’s our guys getting the goal, but we all know we would be rather upset if the roles were reversed
