you know what, I think he may be a little sick, but I honestly don't think he comes from a loving supportive family. I've seen really "crazy" people whose words are incoherent, and believes they're God, or someone ("they") are out to get them. This guy is none of that. And I do think there are some truth in what he says. His family, his father, don't like him b/c he's kind of different., and probably don't support him financially or give him enough opportunites to do things. So, the easiest way is dump him into a mental hospital. He can even comprehend the fact that if he resists at this hospital, his family is going to dump him at a worse place. I think the guy is indeed a genius, and normal, meaning has no schizophrenia of any kind, at least based on my observations, of what's presented in this short clip. Geniuses are often behave and express themselves differently, which is an important clue, and, unless they're deemed dangerous to themselves or others, which is clearly not the case, should not be locked in a mental institution. Clearly, it is those around him, that need help, but they are too busy making money to relize it. We live in a twisted world where if you are born not a sheep like everyone else, then you ought to be abnormal, and is in need of diagnosis and treatment.
