Totally agree that mentality is engrained into us. I’d also think top level the club would need additional financial backing and I do wonder if strategically the Executives might consider remaining loyal to Parky if he did that versus a review of where they see his ceiling…? Do you think Championship to Premier League requires a different tactical approach to Parky’s style of play?

That is a very interesting question because if we take 6th and win playoffs then Parky deserves a shot at Championship IMO. How do you get rid after B2B2B. But if you give him the shot and the target is don’t get relegated, he either 1) succeeds comfortably (keep him) 2) scrapes survival (replace him) or 3) Gets team relegated. (Replace him).

My personal opinion is we need new manager for Championship… survival then growth is a very different animal that what we have asked Parky to do so far. I would consider year 1 in Championship like Burnley in Prem this year… they needed to know their place and be much more defensive and fight to save every point.

@DASLE.Publishing I live on the west coast in Washington State (not D.C., a common mistake). I thought about seeing the men in Vancouver, but decided to save for a trip to Wales. I also considered a 4 hour trip to see the women play in Portland, Oregon, but don't feel safe in that city. I'll keep watching all the friendlies and matches that I can in the meantime. Hoping to start some local watch parties next season too, so I don't have to drink alone during matches.

We’ve seen that at other clubs, and Football being a results based business, fortunately with finishing 2nd, 1st & 2nd in last 3 seasons has definitely meant it’s not so far a problem… and personally- we’re enjoying the continuing ride, on top of A Wave… but there’ll always be a minority that may choose to uphold & have a different view.

End of February, after 2 months dodgy form, and everyone taking points off each other, chances were looking a bit ropey, but that Colchester come-back - after a disappointing defeat Away against the league’s in-form Doncaster Rovers and we’ve looked great since… Phew! We didn’t “Wrexham It Up!”

The turf is a 💩hole.Far better pubs like the measgwyn,long pull,fusiliers,lager club etc.These pubs are full of proper Wrexham people,not just ex frontlines who want to be on television.This must be the first time Rob has been over where there has been no tragedy at the turf.We’ve seen the supposed events like the burger van get robbed,the marquee get trashed,and even a fire in the boiler room of the turf,all events happened around day before he arrives.This Wayne fella doesn’t own the turf,he’s the landlord,and he’s defo coining it in,charging to stand in the car park ffs,I hope he’s declared the takings to HMRC

Thanks for the ray of sunshine. Were in Maesgwyn Pre-Match Glyn Arms (Student Uni) Bar has become more popular this season, and regularly frequent the Wrexham Lager S&S Club. TBF entry to Turf was free after the game, and had a decent atmosphere, singing Wrexham Songs, like the old days, when “We were Shit” and we’d go to the footy, with around 4,000 other fans. The Tourism & Money the Turf & Maesgwyn generates for the Town can only be a positive… and I’ve spoken to many tourists who do like to visit other venues than just the Turf.

Rob & Ryan should definitely never have to pay for a Beer or Dram of Whiskey in Wrexham… Ever! ⭐️

My wife and I visited Wrexham and the TURF PUB last Sept and we thoroughly loved it ! We met a nice young local couple and had a great time. Kiren and his girl friend were great hosts 🥳🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It’s always great to hear it play, as it means the Gladiators are about to enter the arena
