Wrexham AFC, an EFL 2 or League two team, unfortunately couldn't withstand the Championship class from Blackburn Rovers and held a 1-4 loss, getting knocked out of the FA Cup.

Shame.. so many fans funnelled into 2 turnstiles and missed 1st 20 mins. Enjoyed the match, but having seen Coventry & Sheffield Utd Away last season, we honestly thought Rovers position (14 pts from Rotherham - bottom & 36 pts off Leicester - top), doesn’t do your team justice based on that performance Monday night. Sure you’ll end higher up league, come end of season. Gd luck against Newcastle in Round of 16!

@@DASLE.Publishing our stewards are not the best either I remember we played forest at home an the managed to get a big speaker into the top tier. But same to you and i am sure we will be playing you in a few years anyway if you keep on the way your going

Absolute sh1tshow by Wrexham sorting the official coaches on the uni carpark and even worse sh1tshow by Blackburn's ticketing & stewarding. Who designs print at home tickets for away fans and on the ground plan doesn't even show turnstiles & their numbers? Then don't even highlight the turnstile number to head for? This was one cause of turnstile congestion as loads of fans got turned back for being at the wrong turnstile. Then there were loads of holdups due to the small barcodes not scanning (either on printouts or on people's phone screen. Wrexham were 1 up before I even got close to a turnstile, with about 1,000+ fans stood between the carpark railings and the turnstiles. It was all square before I got up to the upper concourse, where I was stuck behind people on the stairwell leading up to the U4 seat entryway and they couldn't move as the steps down to the front of the stand were rammed with people - I couldn't see anything of the game - it was like when I was on the kop as a kid in 78/79! The first goal I actually got to see was us going 3-1 down! Whover was responsible for not delaying the kick-off wants a bloody good kicking - not just over the number of fans missing the kickoff, but because they they were responsible for the crowd in the upper darwin end stand becoming a crush danger! If Wrexham had scored a second goal before halftime then the celebrations could have had fans falling over on the steps and been trampled in full view of plod and the steward supervisor who were just stood at the concourse entry gawping at the people rammed in right the way down to the front of the upper tier. Remember, this was just two days after the cup game where a Maidstone fan celebrating a goal against Ipswich fell from an upper tier and on to fans below.

We had the same issue went to Turnstyle S as that was our seating Zone but ticket did state in smaller print go to U which was opposite side of Away stand. Got in around 17 mins just saw 1st goal, but Police & stewards wouldn’t let us get to our actual seats - as in the video! Might suggest reaching out directly to ticketing office ‘[e-mail]’ or ‘[e-mail]’ A lot of progress has been made with developing ticketing, but whilst there is still some way to go, some Home fans & Stewards did suggest their normal Championship games are often like that so it’s Blackburn’s responsibility to try and improve that side. It would seem that caution Utd last Tuesday fans also complained that buses didn’t arrive until 19:30, so perhaps whoever is coordinating Official coaches needs to take into account earlier embarkation times, although many clubs with their Safety Advisory boards do try to limit the amount of time Away fans are in proximity of ground to around 1.5 Hrs we believe, but this may vary on any perceived risk assessment & differ match to match. Addressing your underlying point though it was really frustrating Kick off was not delayed given the late arrival of some official coaches.
